  1. I hope I put this in the right thread...So my wife and I have the interview next month for her AOS to get the green card, I was looking thru the checklist and the medical part is looking for a sealed envelope...now there lies the problem my wife when living in england never received a sealed envelope, only the envelope that was given to the Officer at the time she came to America on her K-1 fiancee visa. Now is it possible that the package she gave the officer when she came into america had the sealed envelope and that it was sent to the USCIS automatically by the officer, or are we missing something because the only other envelope she got was a white one that was opened it contained a disk with her x rays on it, as well as a vaccination record DS something a copy of it. Any advice would be helpful on if this sealed envelope is already at the USCIS or do I need to schedule a new medical for her to do. Thanks

  2. My fiancée has been working on gathering the documents to prepare for the interview, does she really need original birth certificates to bring with her of all her family members or can she bring photocopies of the birth certificates and still have it considered valid. Also another question is I noticed the visa for London is £240 while the states say its $375 , now my question is if I wrote an American check for her of $375 would the embassy in London accept an American check or money order, or would I have to have the money converted into £ before it would be accepted. Thanks I'm advance

  3. I'm trying to file out the form for my fiancée and I'm having difficulites figuring out what is acceptable for bank statements because I've had my account for over 4 years now and the online statements want to print out all transactions as well, what are some ideas people have done to consolidate these bank statements. For instance if I used excel and just manually created a page of my monthly deposits for the whole year would that be acceptable? Thanks In advance

  4. I got a letter saying the petition has been approved i guess this is the "noa2" people refer to on these forums and seems its valid for 4months, what is happening now is my fiancée suppose to get a letter In England on her side about what to do next to get the interview or do I need to file this I-824 they are talking about In the letter before they even start looking into an interview for her. Any help would be appreciated thanks

  5. Hello I'm hoping I am posting this in the correct section, I recently got engaged to my fiancée who lives in England and I myself live in the states, I mailed the packet out to where it should be about a week ago, now my question in my fiancée is coming over to celebrate New Years for a week, will it cause problem for her arrive from the border patrol because we have a 129f mailed out, I mean her itinerary states that she has a return flight in a week, what other types of documents would be advisable to bring along to prove to the patrol she will be returning in a week to her country, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks I'm advance.
