Hello fellow country-woman. I have applied for a tourist visa while waiting for I-130 to get approved and had no issues. I do have Australian citizenship on top of the Serbian one so that could have made a difference. I just plan to bring lots of evidence that I am returning back home after my visit. Good luck!
