  1. Thanks so much... he has his mother's last name , so I will tell him to put "unknown" since paternity was not legally established. So I, the USC, am the only one that needs to present my parent's birth certificates and their marriage licences, correct?

    I'm sorry...I forgot to mention that we received our NOA2 and are preparing paperwork for the next step.

  2. Hi VJ'ers!

    My fiance's father never signed his birth certificate so therefore he has no one listed as his father. However, he does know who his father is and he lives in the USA. When he fills out the K-1 forms and it requires the birth certificates of his parents and give information about both his parents should he do this? His father acknowledges him as his son but has never supported him financially and never changed the birth certificate to reflect his acceptance of parentage. How should he answer these questions?
