About to fill out the affidavit of support form and wanted to know if they need 2012 tax returns or would 2011 be sufficient? I haven't filed my taxes yet and interview is in about a month so I'm in between what to do.

If anyone can provide a short answer I will appreciate it. Thanks.

Interesting, in my case I have to schedule the interview myself. I guess its easier as an Iranian applicant.

Also , I noticed most of you guys were waiting for interview dates. According to the Yerevan embassy, you have to schedule your own appointment. So which is it? They schedule it or we schedule it?

Hey guys, I have a question.

13 days ago NVC sent my file to Ankara. I want my interview to be in Yerevan (I think its quicker) so I emailed Yerevan to transfer my file from Ankara. Armenia embassy has NEVER replied back to me and it has been over a week. Anyone else have a similar experience? I don't even know where my file is anymore. Ankara on the other hand replied back the next day when I email a question.

How do I know if they have requested my file or not and where my file is? BTW, Iranian applicants who have interviews in Yerevan, check out http://armenia.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html:

and can I fill out the required forms (DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230) and send it to my fiance to sign or does she need to do it herself?

Is DS-156 a form we submit to them electronically? I know we have to fill it out online and print it out and sign before the interview but I do not see a "SUBMIT" button anywhere. How I understand it is that we fill it out online and print two copies and take it to the interview signed and it is not a form that is submitted electronically. Am I right? Thanks!

so now you should be waiting for the NOA2. I got mine 5 1/2 weeks after I got my NOA1. I just received my NOA2 last week and that is where I am at now. I am now waiting for letter from NVC and trying to figure out how and where to pay the visa. Like he said, most iranians interview in Turkey. I chose Armenia
