    Hi everyone! My fiance lives in Nigeria and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I have a question. We wanted to file for the K1 visa and marry in the US, but I want to know who thinks it's best to marry first and then file for the petition. I was told if you marry first it takes longer. Please give me some answers?

      We are processing Fiance but with hindsight and becoming more knowledgeable through this site, we realised the better option would have been marriage. This route is not necessarily longer than the K1 route, its cheaper and you would not need to apply for Adjustment of Satauts and for Employment Authorisation. Check-out the comparison table below.
