hello friends my interview was today and everything went well. i got a letter saying tentatively approved and return on next week to collect the passport. i will write a review soon about my visa interview.

hey no offense guys just wanted to relieve my stress. I'm a very patience person but this visa process hit the maximum level.

Anyways have a great news i got my interview date on July 11th

OMG NVC going in snail's speed, this is frustrating . over the last one month NVC took exact 10 days to reply our emails. (all the mails i sent to them)!.

does this happened to anyone of you??

any advice to speed things up? we have send all the necessary documents to NVC and they confirm that with a email also.

its almost 9 months now since we send our i130!

You were approved 1 day before us so it gives us hope that I could perhaps call them tomorrow and get the ball rolling with NVC!

Mind you, you NOA2 took ages so perhaps they are trying to patch things up a little...

hi guys.. our i130 approved on 3rd April we received our NVC case number and instruction email yesterday 16th.

Yes, of course I will come back, otherwise my immigrant visa will be cancelled. The good thing in it is that I get to go twice to the States, so I can take twice as much of my staff

you will get your approval soon, try to contact your senator office they will give you a good detailed respond within a week or two.

guys great news our i130 approved today im so happy. my wife had an interview yesterday at local office wichita and they said everything is in order its a clean case. today i got a email saying its approved. thanks for the support guys.

k-3 approved at IV Unit at embassy.

No because you have to have the K-3 visa issued to you and use it to be inside the USA before applying for an EAD. Getting it approved doesn't do anything and they generally do not approve them anymore. They close K-3 and approve the CR-1 only.

if K-3 approved before i-130 do i have to submit Form I-765 to obtain employment authorization.

That is scary that they think he is already in the United States? Any more news since you got this letter? Do they know he is not here now?

well that was according to the USCIS customer service. it is hard to get a correct answer from USCIS customer care service if you call 3 times for same question you get 3 different answers.

so my wife went to see an immigration officer at local office on Friday, according to him since she is in US they called her for more evidence for our case and trying to speed things up. hopefully case will approve on first week of April..

Yes it did. I went without my husband since he's outside the US. I brought everything I have to show that the marriage was not a fraud. I got the approval before I left the federal building. I was scared at first but then it turned out to be a very happy day. Goodluck.

finally a feedback from USCIS.. my wife got a letter yesterday for an interview at local office for me and her, since this is a bit confusing we called USCIS, according to ISO they assumed i have entered to USA! does this happen to any of you??

how do you know that atlanta local office not even start processing your case? did you ask from ISO? do they answer those type of questions?

it was only the request and we got a call from USCIS office, that lady told us it will take 30-60 days just to approve and put on line..

I am trying to keep me busy, but when i think i am away from my husband getting worse.Its going to be 8 months on 22nd this month.

Yes, our address change seemed to hold up our application being transferred to a local office.

You won't receive notification of a transfer to the local office, you'll really only know by asking the ISO is it is there, or in our case the immigration liaison of the senator telling us when it was transferred.

i think its already at local office.. its been 5 months now i saw so many December application approved already.. any advice to speed things up a little??

When did you do the change of address and what to and did they change the beneficiary's address? When were you transferred to Wichita?

Your case should not have gone to a local office according to the ISO I spoke to. She said when the petitioner resides abroad that the local office should not handle the case because they might issue an interview request, which would be rather difficult when you live abroad.

we filed from sri lanka my wife USC. she went back to US on October and did the address change by calling USCIS she also received a notice for that.

btw we never received any notice regarding local office transfer.

do you think address change complicate things?

Don't waste your time talking to a CSR. Ask for an ISO until you get one. Only they can answer the questions you need.

Also your case MAY be at your local USCIS office. I'm not sure if mine was in Denver or not but it's the local office to my husband's residence. There are no local NBC offices. Often once the case is at a local office, no matter how much you call, they can't give you more information because the local offices either can't or don't update the USCIS until they need something or make a decision.

Wait until Tuesday to call again. ISOs do not work Sat and Monday is a holiday.

finally got a ISO on line according to her, initially our application went to CSC (case #WAC)then transferred to NBC and they transferred to local office in wichita. is this bcos change of address? cos we filled from abroad.

i guess our application travelling here and there killing time!!

@hikergirl@NikiR thanks for the reply we called USCIS today that lady told us now CSC doing on june 2012 fillers and we request to speak to a immigration service officer, she said they having a tech issue and request to call later. so we called after 1 hour another lady answer request for a ISO and she said cant do it. so we explain everything again and this lady said CSC doing on August 2012 fillers. also our file is at local NBC office we search for a local NBC office there is only local USCIS office.

Hello friends! quick question when should we lodge a complain for beyond posted processing times on USCIS web site? cos i filed on sept 14th and noa1 on sept 21st.. pls advice me?

all September fillers this is the 5th month right after this whats gonna happen? USCIS working very unfair, i saw one person got NOA2 in just 28days well it is really good.. why only us in this 5 months thing? very frustrating!!
