    Green Card receive today whoohoo! problem with date of birthday!

      Congrats!! Re the error, you need to send the card back with an i-90 (no fee) due to USCIS error. Make a copy of the card before you send it. You should also make an infopass appointment to get a GC stamp in the passport to prove status while the new card is processing. It can take up to 6 months to get the card back.

      Unfortunately you need to get it fixed. If his birthday was wrong on a drivers license you'd have to get it fixed because his ID is incorrect. It's free, and you'll get a GC stamp in the passport. Able to work and travel on that. Better to get it done now than in the rush of another process.

      oh i haven't file for ssn yet. thinking about doing that by monday! all i have to do is go to a social security office to get one with my ead card!

    Hey Y'all. Am thinking about calling USCIS to expedite my EAD since my GC as been pending for almost 9 months? just got my NOA for my EAD two days ago. so i was just thinking if i should call uscis to expedite it! Has anyone ever expedited their EAD before or does anyone have any INFO that would help?

      I dont have any idea about this, but it cant hurt to try! Everytime you call you make your voice heard, the squeaky wheel gets the grease :)

      i guess am just gonna stop scheduling for infopass and just pray and believe in God's miracles. i was told by the dhs officer that i dont need to schedule any infopass anymore i should just wait that they are gonna mail me an interview letter soon! fingers cross.

    I really don't understand what really is going on with the process in Minnesota. Have been reading/seeing a lot of couple getting approved before us. going through their timeline seeing that it took them just 3-5 months from date of filing to getting approved in Minnesota. Its been 9 months still nothing from USCIS. Am so confuse, i really don't know what to do! Can someone please advice me on what to do next? is so depressing.

      I would suggest making an Infopass Appointment to talk with someone regarding your case and bring along copies of all your petitions along with supporting evidence since you filed.

    finally the lady that understands english! have been told to schedule an infopass to go talk to an immigration officer why my case is still pending still my case is at my local office. infopass schedule for Friday. can't wait!

    Each time i call uscis service center is one problem to another! i just got done talking to an agent who told me that my name is different from the one they have on the system. really? he told me to schedule an infopass to go talk to an immigration officer. am so confuse is been 8month

      yes, that is most definitely what I would do. They aren't God, just mere humans and are prone to make a mistake or two! Don't lose heart!

      And if that doesnt help ask for a tier 2 manager regarding the situation! They can see more than the regular customer service people :)
