    - given that its Islamabad embassy should I 'side load' with more evidence at the NVC stage? Yes if the evidence is substantial
    - what exactly should I side load? any extra substantial/compelling evidence
    -

when the I-130 was submitted we officially got married and did a small ceremony, but over the summer we had a bigger ceremony (most of my family attended this time) . how should I indicate to USCIS/NVC about this ceremony ( I assume they will get confused about the original Marriage and the new ceremony)
    - I read that 'side loading' could also be used by the CO as a reason for denial.

Hey bro ... the only thing i am worried about is that at the time you filed I-130 you had only done Nikkah. The consular might make a point that since all rituals weren't completed marriage was not  consummated at the time of filing I-130 and could be basis of denial ??? I don't know its best to check with a lawyer. I am in the exact same situation as you.

However, in my opinion my marriage was consummated when my Nikkah was done and we had a reception the following day. We also had honeymoon few days after.

USCIS is only interested in the official marriage they have no concern about ceremony.  My question was more geared towards how should I word the reception that was over the summer.

  2. I front loaded my initial I-130 application with all the details that I had at that time , like Call logs, pictures, boarding cards about 1 visit, local bank statement (not much money in it) , 2 affidavit of bonafide relationship from friends, receipt of gifts that I sent her.

My application at USCIS is still not approved. Hopefully it will get approved this month

In my I-130 application I only had 1 visit to show that I meet my wife.

By the time the application gets to NVC I would have visited her 2 more times and we also went on our honey moon after the I130 was submitted.

few Questions that I have are:
    - given that its Islamabad embassy should I 'side load' with more evidence at the NVC stage?
    - what exactly should I side load?

Yes, there are a bunch of us on the April thread that have the same issue. I called USCIS months ago & spoke with a supervisor. They said that not all case numbers are entered into the system & there was nothing they could do. The only way to check case status is to call them. I still check once a week, just for fun, but it always comes up as "invalid receipt number". I don't think it's anything to be worried over though! Which service center are you at?

I am at TSC , just like you

  4. I have Applied for I-130 for my spouse. I sent in the NADRA Marriage Certificate with the I-130 application. the case is at TSC .
I started reading the threads for NVC and realized that the Islamabad embassy requires the Nikkah Nama (with English Translation).

My Question is that has anyone gotten their I130 approved by sending only the NADRA marriage certificate? Does USCIS know the difference between Nikkah Nama and NADRA Marriage Certificate.

Should I try and preempt a RFE and send in the nikkah Nama Now to TSC

PS: I am going to send the Nikkah nama once my case gets to NVC

  5. I was married to my First  wife in Pakistan, marriage was registered in Pakistan and then I applied I-130 for her. . She came to the US and became a USC. we have been divorced in the US now. and the divorce decree indicates that the marriage took place in Pakistan.

I am looking to get married to my fiancee who also happens to be in Pakistan .

Q: I am legally able to marry my fiancee in Pakistan, because polygamy is legal in Pakistan. In order for me to apply for her I-130 for my second wife, do I need to divorce my Ex in Pakistan?

Q: the US embassy in Islamabad going to accept my divorce that is done in USA . but at the same time complain that I cannot get married again in Pakistan without divorcing my EX in Pakistan(even though Pakistani law allows it) ?

  6. I am going to be applying for CR1 (I-130) for my spouse.

I know its taking 6-8 months for the application to get approved from USCIS and then get forwarded to NVC

    I have 2 questions :

Q1: In order to get my application approved from USCIS as soon as possible , would it help if I also apply for K3 (I-129f). I know that K3 gets converted to CR1 at NVC.
I would assume under this scenario I will have 2 applications at USCIS  and more change of 1 applications getting approved faster ?

Q2: If I apply for K3, I assume the CR1 application and K3 application would get getting proceseed in 2 different processing centers?
