10 year green card arrived in the mail today! Good luck to all Feb filers that are left!
-
My husband is finally approved! No RFE no interview. Just a long wait.
The letter came in the mail 4/27 and the approval date is 4/24. On 4/27 the status on the website and it listed the approval date as well.
Good luck to those who are left!
Edit to add something I also just noticed which was interesting. My husbands AOS approval date was 2014-04-24. That means the approval was a year to the date after it expired on 2016-04-24. No idea if it's related or not but something interesting to note!

Oh nooooo 😱😱😱. I am going to request it, and it makes me worry more. 50% March filers have been approved. Why not us? Look like feb is not good month 😥
We just ended up on the wrong person's desk

The result of our service request on 3/24/2017 just came in the mail yesterday. According to the letter: the I-751 is still pending adjudication. They regret they can't provide a completion date and are sorry for the delay. Please wait another 60 days.

The applicant or a representative (attorney) can call. What do you know he doesn't have all the knowledge about what to ask for? If you're filing for the removal of conditions for yourself then you should be the one calling. If you're out of the normal processing times, then file a service request. If you don't hear anything, contact your congressman and file a request on the Ombudsman website (they tend to pressure USCIS to expedite cases that are lagging).
My husband the green card holder via K1 visa. I'm the US citizen who had done all the paperwork and all the research every step of the way to get him here with me. <3 I think he basically called asked for a teir 2 and after waiting for one the teir 2 said it's taking long and he was done.

My husband called this morning and got a teir 2. Really no help from them. Does anyone know if only the green card petitioner can call? He doesn't have all the knowledge about what to ask for and didn't really pry for more information like I would've.
His report on the call:
They just kept saying it will be handled soon. They weren't very helpful for such a long wait.

Anyone who's NOA date is Feb 15 2016 or earlier is officially out of processing time. The USCIS processing time VCS table was updated today.

Glad to see so many Feb filers approved and VSC even starting on March. We still haven't received anything in the mail or seen any update on the case status website. Let's hope they finish up Feb with in the next couple months. Stay strong.

How long it takes to renew your green card and remove the conditions?
At this point VSC is taking a year plus and CSC was at 6 months but that has been increasing. It could all change though by the time yours is processing.

I have NOA of Feb 17 2016 and have started getting a little worried about how long this process is.
It's normal at this point that most of us February files aren't approved yet. It looks like they are still working through January and even December. I wouldn't be worried yet.

Ginger, you note another situation which apparently is resolved differently for different people. That is the obtaining of the Stamp in Passport.
Some have reported great difficulty or even failure to get the Stamp. So what is the 'rule' or circumstance that allows it?
I've also read that people sometimes have issues getting the stamp as well as people getting mixed responses from the help hotline. There are no clear rules that I've seen. I figured with in a month before the NOA expired and crossed my fingers.
When my husband got the stamp he said there was another person before him doing the same thing. You can try asking if anyone else has tried using the field office you'll need to go to and if they had any issues. I don't see any specific forum for field offices so maybe a new topic with the field office in the title.

My husband's NOA letter will expire early February 2017 and his green card expired mid April 2016. We few out of the country and back in November/December 2016. The CBP agent did give us a little grief that it will expire in February and said something along the lines of you're lucky I'm not pulling you in for secondary. (No idea if he was joking or serous about pulling us into secondary screening just for my husband's expired green card and NOA letter.) We did get the stamp in his passport last week just to make sure we're all set for any travel for a year.

My hubby sent for his ROC last February 2016 and recieved his extension letter. Now we're concerned what to do since the letter is expiring soon. Any help greatly appreciated
My husband is also a Feb 2016 filer. He had his infopass appointment today at the Manchester Field Office (NH) and he got stamp in his passport. They did keep his expired green card as the stamp replaces it.
Feel free to follow the Feb 2016 Filers thread here:

According to the office USCIS processing times, the CSC is currently on
I-751 Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence Removal of lawful permanent resident conditions (spouses of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents May 14, 2016 The visajourney stats say that they are up to May 27, 2016

It looks like CSC is at about 8 months right now. Of course this can always speed up or slow down. You should followed this thread to see when fellow August filers get approved.

My husband has an infopass appointment on Jan 18th to try to get the stamp in his passport. The VSC is so slow
Just wanted to report in that there were no issues getting the stamp at the Manchester Field Office (NH). They did take away his green card, as expected, when they put the stamp in his passport. At least he's all set for another year. I am hoping that we start seeing Feb 2016 filers approved next month.

Did you guys tried calling in to ask if they can make a service request for your case? After they put a service request they have I think about 30 days to respond and than they either tell you to wait, or give rfe or interview or approve the case but at least they give you something
From what I've heard, we can't put a service call in until the official processing time is at or after your NOA1 date. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do They are at December 14, 2015 as of the last update.

This list looks like good evidence to me. Do you have a mortgage, title, or lease for where you live together that you could include? I would also suggest a cover letter.

My husband's NOA date was in February while his green card expire date was in April. We went through US customs at Dublin airport in early December, and the person we spoke with told us they go by the date on the NOA letter. If we plan to travel out of the US again after the NOA Feb expire date, we need the stamp. Seeing as we're at the VSC he'll be getting an appointment to get the stamp later this month or early next month to make sure he's all set.

Hi guys,
Is the 1 year extension (NOA1) of green card starts on the date of receipt (in my case 2/26/2016 to 2/25/2017) or 1 year extension from the date green card expired (5/22/2016 to 5/21/2017)?
When should I get I-551 stamp in the passport- after 2/25/2017 or after 5/21/2017?
I’m going to Mexico on March 1st, 2017. From the way VSC is working I’m not sure if I’ll be getting my green card by then. Is it OK to travel to Mexico with i-551 stamp in the passport (Indian passport)? I don’t think I’ll have any issue in the US immigration when I come back but I’m not sure if Mexican immigration would accept i-551. Do any of you have information regarding this?
Thanks, and good luck to all!
We went through US customs at Dublin airport earlier this month, and the person we spoke with told us they go by the date on the NOA letter. If we plan to travel out of the US again after the Feb expire date, we need the stamp.

I just drove across the boarder and back over the weekend with my LPR husband from England. His green card has been expired since May. We provided passport, green card, and NOA letter and had no issues on either side.
Have a good time in Canada!

A Vegas marriage is very easy. Here's the website for them: http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/depts/clerk/services/pages/marriagelicenses.aspx
Basic requirements:
To obtain your marriage license, both parties must appear in person before a Clerk at a Clark County Marriage Bureau location.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and no nearer of kin than second cousins or cousins of half-blood, and not having a husband or wife living.
You go to the license office and get your license that day and get get married the same day. I do suggest you fill out online becasue that line is shorter at the office.

Hi Cindy,
Looking at your time line, it looks like you should have only applied for the AOS and not the ROC. Did you apply for them both? The process goes: enter on K1 Visa then get married and apply for AOS. Once AOS is approved you receive your first green card. It is only good for 2 years, so you apply for ROC towards the end of the 2 years.
