My wife had her interview today and was approved. They asked her a few questions and gave her the pink paper. Thanks to everyone here for their help.

My case was completed at NVC on October 2. Do I need to call NVC everyday to see when the interview is scheduled or wait until they mail the interview letter?

Have patience, guys. NVC is really slow. It took me 55 days to get a case number.

This finally occurred to me. Am I suppose to put my wife's last name the same as my last name on the forms?

After you send in the AOS and IV packages, does it take a few week for NVC to make an appointment and send it to the Consulate?

The Consulate does not make the appointment?

I will be sending the AOS and IV packages together. I have more evidence of a bonifide marriage. Do I just stick those evidence documents between the AOS and IV?

I have paid the AOS bill. Can I wait until I have paid the IV bill and send both the AOS and IV documents together?

It's been a week since I sent the DS-3032 and all I got was the auto response. So I sent a second one today with this in the subject line: Supervisor Review - NVC Case # - BENEFICIARY'S FULL NAME - Second Time Sending. Hope I get an acceptance soon.

I have my joint sponsor's tax return transcripts for 2009-2011. I don't have my joint sponsor's employment letter and pay stubs. Is that ok?

Also I don't have income for the past 3 years. So I just fill out I-864 form. Do I need to write a letter about not being employed and no income?

Received the email from NVC and attachment in their email: PAOSF I-130 and ACL for neopost.

It has my wife's name like this - 2nd middle name, First name, 1st middle name, Last name.

For example: Tiffany (first name), Carol (1st middle name), Ann (2nd middle name), Smith (last name)

But they have it: Ann Tiffany Carol Smith

Does this need to be corrected?

Great news. After 55 days from NOA2, I finally received my case number and invoice identification number today. DS-3032 was also emailed to them today. :dance:

41 days since noa2 and no case number. why is nvc taking so long to upload the case into their system? it was only 53 days at uscis for approval. nvc is so slow.

I can't stop blaming myself now it raised my hope when it got to the consulate and now it's shattered like glass....I'm sorry I don't mean to rant but I am feeling really down right now. I really don't care of the advantages I just wanted to go home to my hubby. If only they had sent my I-130 to the NVC on time I would have been done with it by now

why didn't you file the cr1 in march after your wedding and waited until october to file it? you would have been done by now.

33 days since NOA2 and no case number. I was hoping to not be in this thread.

It's been 30 days since NOA2 and still no case number. I emailed the approval notice to nvc reasearch a week ago and still no response. NVC is so slow.

It's been 27 days since approval and I have not received a case number. Called NVC and they said that they have received a lot of applications at the beginning of this year so the process will be slower.

Congratulations! There are a lot of June babies around here! Are you trying to have her enter the US before birth? I suppose that if she doesn't, you'll have to wait until the baby can get a passport to fly, right? We are staying put here in Spain until the baby is born, but I am slightly concerned that between approval and baby's passport arriving we wont have a lot of wiggle room to enter the US before his visa expires.

thanks. she'll give birth in vietnam. we just want this whole process to be completed and not have to worry about it anymore before she gives birth. we'll apply for the passport and maybe she can come to the USA a month after her due date. there's 6 months after approval that he can enter the US. that's probably enough time.

Just want to check in. We got our email from NVC yesterday. Our NOA2 was dated December 14, 2012. Our email fro NVC was dated January 22, 2012. So it's taking a bit longer than 30 days it seems. We've paid our AOS invoice online and requested to be contacted via email. I think we may decide to delay providing our AOS a bit. I'm pregnant and due in June. We will be staying here until the baby can get a passport. So I'm not in a big hurry to speed the process along.

I don't know if it's the holidays or NVC is really slow. It's been 21 days and they still don't have my case number.

Mine was approved 11 days before yours and it's not even at NVC yet!!! it'll be a month next week for me, you still have some time! technically it's only been 7 business days for you!

How come your case is not at NVC yet? I called NVC and they said they have my case already but it still needs to be loaded into the system. So I have to wait for it to be loaded then I get the case number.

Our case was approved today by the USCIS after waiting in misery for nearly 4 months. I wonder how long it will take for NVC to receive our case? Can't wait to complete the next steps. Very excited!!!

I thought NVC was suppose to be fast. At this rate, it'll be slower than USCIS for me. 13 days and still no case number.

What's the record for fastest CR1/IR1 completed from start to finish without expedite or DCF?

OK guys i don't know what to make of this but the receipt number after mine as been approve TODAY so i don't know if that's good or it doesn't matter. Just trying to look for some hope anywhere i can find it

it's a good thing. the cases near mine were approved and i was approved a few days after.
