  1. TSC approved it and was like "Hey VSC we approved your stuff, take it back now!" And shipped it back to VSC.

Then VSC was like "No way! You approved it, it's yours! Deal with sending to the NVC yourself!" And shipped it back to TSC.

Meanwhile we're all sitting here calling NVC every day so we can just move on with the process...

Well This Does sound about right for our wonderful Government run agencies....I Pray this is not the Case...just check my case Status still the same ....

  2. Like everyone else here I Was one of the case from VSC Transfered NOA1 Dec.13...NOA2 hard Copy July 1...found this thread when I called like stated here and told 8 WEEKS!!!!! for a K-1 case number...I know there are folks waiting a lot longer than me... But TCS did not process them in order so God know How they will send to NVC...Good Luck everyone so glad I found this thread Great Idea to the OP..

  3. I Have as well sent things with the USPS and had no problems...But if you really want it there I would not place my bet on the USPS... Fed Ex has always gotten everything I sent there on time with no problems..But we Have a Corp. Acct. so I dont even leave work they pick up here every day smile.png

  5. Hi Hank

I have also read many accounts of being there for her interview.. But I have also hear some say that they are not permited to be present during her interview @ the window..I guess my question also would be is there a Hard rule or is it @ consular's Discrestion?

I agree it is not required you should be there, But if able it does give your fiance' a sense of releif that it means that much for you to be there with her...Just My opinion not a judgement... But I did email the embassy and ask the same question..Is there a rule prohibiting me from attending my fiance's K-1 visa interview? I will post the answer if I get one

    God Bless,

    JM & MM

  7. It's my experience that a lot of Filipinas like the idea of having a mixed race child. Jena had the dream as a young girl that she would grow up, marry an "American" and have kids with him. American is in quotes because when Jena was young, she assumed all foreigners she saw in her small town were American.

It's interesting to me how many mixed race actors and performers there are in the RP. There seems to be a fascination with them. Has anyone seen the little white kid with blue eyes speaking perfect Tagalog? His adopted mother is a Filipina and the kid became a celebrity almost instantly.

Hmmmm When I read this I knew that I would have to reply. My Fiance Maribel finly confessed this very thing. She was Very shy To tell me This, We would get into long discussions of what we were looking for in a partner. The topic would aways lead back To "Why you Not want a Pinoy" is the question I would ask...She is 24 and only had one serious boy friend. She was 20 and he was 35 also filipino..She was envolved with him for 2 years. When she had a Job change and moved she ended it..And she would just say she didn't want another fiflipino BF..It's her choice as she likes to say..Long story short hahaha She finally said that this has been a dream of hers to have a foreigner for a husband and family :)..

We do have a large age gap..I have Been very honest with everything in my past, And My current financial status..Im just an average joe work hard everyday for the things I have. I to want to have children also....As your story we hadthat talk early in our relationship as it should be... But I am amazed @ the men that will not be straight with what they position is on children..How can you start a relationship with someone and say your not sure about children..or wait to be clear about it..Knowing the culture and desires of a young filipina..Maribel said a girl is not complete til she has @ least one child hehehe...We agreed on 2..Ok I'm done ramblin' on

I'm just Glade to see That this is not unheard of... I'm sure there are to one who will say again she only wants a GC are to Get Money for here family..But thats a whole nother thread..

    Take care, and God Bless

  9. I have to agree with the others comments..I was there back @ the end of november.I believe it is mainly because Mahal Ko was with me everywhere. So I did not exsperience the kano skin tax I read about here on VJ and other forums. But over all I had no issues eveen @ the domestic side of the airport when flying ot from Manila to Cebu..just my 2 dull pennies worth.. :D

  10. Well, after double and triple checking the petition, and a looooooong wait at the Post Office, Rossel's petition was sent off today. Got all the way to the car, sat down and realized I forgot the G-1145.

    Ugh....

So, went through the loooooong line again, retrieved the package, came home and filled out the missing form. I know it's optional BUT I'd like the updates!

Went back to the Post Office, shorter line thank GOD! After two trips to the Post Office, three times through Christmas rush lines and two Priority Mail postages paid the petition is off to USCIS!

Crossing my fingers for a speedy approval with NO RFEs!

Thank you VJ members for all the assistance and advice so far. I'm sure I will have many more questions in the coming years!

    Mike
