  1. Yep... jump on the Waiting Train again. Check the mail every day like I do hoping no request for evidence or a letter saying the fingerprints were broken or anything random like that! Hope for no interview request. Wait some more and hopefully just get the 10 year green card sometime this year! That's how I'm approaching it anyway.

That's frustrating but at least you know you're in the system somewhere! What is your location for doing biometrics, if you don't mind disclosing?

Right?! I was hopefull that maybe the letter just got lost in the holiday jumble (I was expecting it latest by 12/23). My ASC is in Dallas Tx

  2. Hi guys, I called USCIS on the 26th and started a service request, I got an email today basically stating this: " Our records indicate that your biometrics appointment was pending due to limited captacity at your local application support cetner (ASC). Your fingerprint notice should be received in approximatley 30 days."

So there... I think I'm satisfied but won't be happy until I get that darn appointment letter in my hands. lol.

I posted this in the AOS section but wanted to get some guidance from people who are in the military. can any of you suggest to me how to prove my income is that of an E6, i submited 6 LES's to them but I guess that was not enough? Did any of you talk to your CO and have them write a letter? That seems really odd to have him do that but I guess i could. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

This is my assumption but really who knows so I hope this helps. Hubby is AD USAF. The LES that you sent it does show that you were paid X amount but it does not show that you are currently employed. The letter of service or proof of service should show your current contact term (i.e. from 2012- 2016, a 4 year contract), this is provide sufficient evidence that you are above the required income level and that you will be able to continue to financially support your spouse for how ever many more years at this current job. Does this make sense?
