Did your interviewer told you you were approved? When i did my aos interview what assured me I was interviews was that, the interviewer after then Interview told me and my awesome wife I was approved and that I will receive my card in a few days, she even wrote on a sticky note the day I should file to remove the condition and stamped it on the back of my passport and explained to me when I will qualify for neutralization.

Were you told you were approved?

Were you told they would be some further review?

Because From your status update that's what it seems to be.

When I got my visa approved on the 19 of Dec 2012 I got mine on the 5th Jan 2013 that was because of the holiday. But I had to go to the address they gave me after the interview to get my visa. Unless things have changed they do not send you email or update about the visa, during the interview if they approve your visa they will give you a note with an address and date to go get your visa. So I don't know why you are waiting for it.

I will advice to visit Nigeria first and meet him, then allow him propose to you in person. Then when you come back home you can file for k1 visa k1 visa is faster and less stressful than getting married in Nigeria and filling for Cr1. But which ever you choose will work for you according to your faith good luck

Sworn affidavit is also accepted. But if you have your birth certificate you should not have any problem take the two of them i took the two for my k1 interview

You should add printed copies of your social media interactions with your fiance, and interactions of your fiance relatives talking. Phone records showing you and your fiancé number calling each other with dates. All this helps I did k1 too and i had all this just giving you that info because I did not see it on your post

What I meant to say was your inlaws address as your mailing address and your own home address as your home address. (we all know how auto correct act over smart lol)

In the form they will ask for your residential address and your mailing address, so what you should do put your inlaws address as your mailing address and your home address as your mailing address. Use a blank paper and explain why you used your inlaws address as your mailing address you will have to put your full name address and alien number on this note date and sign it and also put the page and the question number of which you needed extra sheet to explain.

My case status changed to MY NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED.

I got my 10 years green card with no interview, or additional evidence.

I started my job in 2013 with k1 visa now I'm getting my 10 years green card in a few weeks or days.

This post is just to show you all that its possible I did all this with no help from a lawyer except for the k1 visa and that was before I knew about Visajourney.

Hi did you get your NOA notice for your Biometrics appointment first before they told you you needed more evidence?

Please tell me after you filled your I-751 form was the request of more evidence the first thing they contacted you for?

On 02/18/2015 I sent my I-751 Form with all the requirements, few days later i received my I-797 NOA. Iv'e been waiting for the Biometrics appointment since then. I just got my I-797C NOA one hour ago in the mail. my Biometrics is scheduled for this Month, I can't wait to let you guys know when I get my Condition removed

This have been a great journey for me since 2012 now its 2015 I'm in the process of removing my condition. just letting the new guys out there know that it's possible.

I have been there done that letting you know ain't nothing to that relax you are on the right track this is a good news

You physically lived elsewhere, and you reported an address change. Why wouldn't you disclose this information?

That's why I'm asking I have no problem doing this except for them to have a reason to give me a hard time because of this

Hi guys my current problem is complicated but this is Visa Journey, someone here have either been through this same scenario or knows someone who have been so i need an advise on this.

During April of last year me and my wife had a serious misunderstanding, (which every married couples go through) I decided to go away for a while, I left the house and rented an apartment for 13 days which I stayed there away from her because the problems we was going through was getting out of hand, but we later resolved the issue and i cam back home but before i did, I had gone online to change my address with the USCIS because they said to report change of address if i have changed address within 10 days. but when i came back home I went back online and changed the address again to my current home address. Now the problem I'm having is on the i-751 form

Page 2 question 22 where they asked this

Have you resided at any other address since you became a permanent resident? (if "yes," attach a list of all addresses and dates.)

Note: I did leave the house in April of last year for about 13 days, and i did report on the uscis site link below

with the information of my address at that time in which i changed when i came back home 13 days later on the same website.

What should me answer be on this question?

do you think it matter i lived at a different address for 13 days and reported it to uscis? should i just check no?

or should i check yes

On May 8th i went for my Adjustment of status interview

on may 16th i received my Permanent Residence card

i am glad to announce that i finnally got the break i needed from USCIS till 2015 again

Received my AOS approval letter in mail today

hello everyone my husband received biometric appointment and i want to know how much the biometric fees anyone know pls reply back

if i read you right he just received the biometric appointment which means you already filed for AOS? did you pay $1070 ? while filling for your AOS? if yes then your biometric was included you dont need to pay nothing and beside, you can not pay anything on that day if you did not pay for it while you sent your form they would not schedule it for you

Oh just want to ask those couples who hired a lawyer for the process. How much the payment your lawyer ask you? Our lawyer asks for 2500$. My husband already paid 1000$ and he has 1500$ left more to pay. I learned from other member here, they paid only 500$ for their lawyer and that shocked me. ^? Added to that every time my husband asks or contact the lawyer for more queries, he can't without being charged more and he does not refunds

So we decided to fire that lawyer and hire an agent. We chose RapidVisa.com. Anyone comment here who have used that one? THANKS MUCH.

We hired a lawyer during the k-1 visa process and paid 2000 but she was never there to give answers till i found VJ on google then i was the one giving this lawyer information so after the k-1 visa was approved and i got married we did not higher a lawyer we did it ourselve and i got my green card, so what am saying is if you dont have red flag on your case i think you will be fine doing this alone lawyers dont gurrantee you approval

Wow guys first of let me say Thank you to the Lord God that made it all possible without him i would not be writting this review

And also to all the VJ members that have been with me through my K1 visa process, i got more good news for you i got my AOS approved today

I had interview at 10:30 am today me and my beautiful wife arrived about 45 mins ealier so we walked in got signed in and we were asked to wait that someone was going to call our name and take us in for the interview, so we sat down and waited for about 40 mins, there were so many people there today, while waiting my name was called so i walked towards the door and it was a white lady i said thank God i wanted a woman to be the one doing the interview lol

Ok before i continue, i had read so much about this AOS i got really scared well i dont know but mine was very easy even much more easier than my k1 visa interview in Nigeria, i cant stop smilling as am writting this review now i got a really Big smile on my face oh and my wife just brought me a drink and gave me a kiss lol sweet aint it? yes we got to rest from uscis for a while ahahahahaha

ok now i continue so we walked in her office she stood us up and swore us in

then the interview began

She asked for my passport and id i gave her

she now went through my file and was asking questions to make sure all was correct including my dob ssn and all that after a very long line of questions that i have to answer yes or no lol all my answers was No by the way am clean hahahaha very good right?

so she asked how we met

asked me my wives DOB then she asked my wife what i do for fun

and also asked me the same thing

so she then asked for any document i have that shows us having something in our name i gavce her all i had

by the way i had sent in everything they requested while i was filling for this AOS i even sent more than what was asked me. I got that idea from VJ it is better to be overprepared than not to be prepared although i did send in some pictures while filling for the AOS i also brought about 100 more photos she did not even loook lol

I just got a kiss from my wife lol while typing this hehehehehe dream come true

ok so she explained that the card would arrive in ***************** ok am done talking the bottom line is i got my AOS approved hurray

ADVICE: For all those that are in this process or about to get in this process

1. we did not go with a lawyer we did this ourselve a lawyer will cost you alot of money and will not gurrantee your approval

2. dont be scared by other peoples failure be multivated by other peoples success

3. Pray to your God

4. Be honest

5. Good luck

6. you can ask questions if you are not sure there are so many people here on vj that have the right answer for free
