i used the k1 myself all went well getting ready for my wife to do citizenship. my friend works for homeland security is a us citizen and is interested in someone from dominican republic i was just curious if working for homeland security or the government would he be able to do the process or would they have restrictions.

but now i need the ssn for her to put on my insurance and the ssn office are not issuing cards right now and i only have 2 weeks left to put her on the insurance at my workkkkkkk

we just did the same in ohio you only need the passport visa

ok we were approved for a k1 and k2 visa for her and her son. The fathers last name is on the birth cert. do we need custodial rights and permission to travel or is permission to travel enough to bring her son to the U.S

all went well except for the policia stopped us on our way to the embassy and were trying to bribe us for money.Was very glad and thankful that her brother is very high up in the police force had to call him and he straightened it out and told them to take us and find a place to park. It was very busy and was nervous just waiting to get done.It took maybe 2 hours total but was very very easy we had such a great person working our window. Will post more about in review

or you can let your interview date go by and call the day after the interview date and request a reschedule but they won't say how long it will be

nvc said they sent it may 3rd to the embassy and when she got the packet it was dated may 14th and she got it may 27th santo domingo to boca only a half hour drive so the mail must be very slow in the city.
