Called the NCSC and talked to a tier 2 representative, found out that there is a system error that's why we can't check our case status on the USCIS website - hope this helps anyone who is wondering why their case is not showing on the website.

I am in the same situation. Petition send 9/28, email receipt and check cashed 10/2. But it's been 2 months still haven't seen paper receipt/NOA1 yet. I check online and called USCS and I was told my case was not found in the system. Did you end up receiving the paper receipt? How can I request an expedite? Please help!!!
