Case just gets updated. Last it got updated on 27 feb

I thought as soon as we send the require document there issue the visa I guess it don't work like that here...

Yeah.. It definitely doesn't work like that.!! It was just PCC which I needed to submit and it took me almost 70days.. They dint start working till it crossed 60days since I submitted my documents..

It happened the same to me.

Changed from ready to ap again. That scared me.. But it changed to issued the very next day..

Just email on the ustraveldocs email id, if they reply that ur passport is ready for pick up then go and pick it up, thats what I did.

That's what the operator said.. For now it shows origination scan. It was weekend so probably that's why my passport was stuck still at the consulate.

I don't think they send any mail. We have to call the help desk and find out the blue dart tracking no and find out when it can be collected. This is what Pawan and Mitu have done. I have been trying to call the help desk but nt able to speak to any operator.

Hey guys.. Did anyone try contacting the traveldocs support desk recently?? Previously about 2 months back I talked to an operator. But now there seems to be no option as to how to talk to a person. I keep hearing the same recorded message. Am I doing something wrong or have they removed the option of talking to an operator.?

yes its really big relief........so your status shows ready couple of days ago that means not only pre interview status...its about to issue.......

Yeah.. Possibly.. That's what I thought. But yesterday the status again changed to administrative processing from ready. That got me so tensed. I thought something else went wrong. Wasn't even expecting it to change to issued today.!

My case was put on hold with the first 221g for PCC..

Really.??? It was previously in administrative processing till 24th feb. Then it changed to ready. And today it is back to administrative processing..

Pawan ji.. 70 days since the submission of documents and nothing has been done yet. My case status changed to 'ready' on feb 24th but today it changed back to 'administrative processing'. This is getting me tensed. What does that mean?

i read it that your case status is ready. Did you inquire it further?

It is showing pre interview status. That got me worried. When I enquired about it, they said that my case was pending officer's review.. So. Gotta wait more days. !!:-(

Guys i want to go mumbai Us consulate for getting positive answer regarding my 221g letter which i got in first week of jan 2013, it has been 17 months but still my case is in Administrative processing even my dad told me to visit Us embassy once. I think your going to get your visa this week. Either tuesday or friday. I have a feeling thats what your ready means, since it changed after the 60 days. Best of luck

After all we have been through, I am being pessimistic about the whole thing. I tried mailing supportindia and there isn't any reply from them. And I called the contact no given in the mumbai consulate and there seems to be no option to talk to a operator..
