Proof of domicile will be required for DCF as well.
Yes domicile in the u.s and 6months residency is not a problem. Hubby is on bb one year stay here.
-
true that! you could have gotten maybe a joint sponsor or something. You should have check the poverty guideline before you guys did any of the process. But as of now thats not the main point anymore. Use a joint sponsor before sending out your Affidavit of support when you reach the NVC stage and check the poverty guidelines for 2014. its I-864p, check this out http://www.uscis.gov/i-864p
We did have a joint sponsor but here in the phil they did not accept it for k1 only for cr1. Will file for dcf here so it may inly tske three months to process the whole petition. Tnx

We have our k1 case still under a.p since october 2013 due tto we did nit meet income requirement and they want us to send a waiver i601. Instead of filing the waiver we decided to get married last april292014 and will file i130 this month. Is there any chance they will deny the application? What step should we do? Pls help!!!!

OK then. The next problem is actually being able to schedule an appointment. Everytime I look at the embassy's appointment site, it shows either fully booked or no appointment times available for the next 4 months. How does anybody manage to get in to register the birth of their child in Philippines, especially if the American citizen parent does not live there?
You need to check it everyday. Sometimes a new slot opens. And yes. I waited for four months for crba of my child

My husband was 6months short with the proof that we gave them even if he stayed at u.s longer than five years. I guess they really based it on the proofs that u provide. Were gonna sub,it additional documents. His mom already send the additional documents here in the phil last may 16 and havent received it yet. I guess they lost it. Too much of a hassle his mom will send snother copies though. Then send it right away at us embassy for additional documents..

Thanks for the advise everyone! I reserched in IRS 1040 form instructions and found out that my husband didnt have to file for Federal income tax return YET. So we just write a letter explaining that he is not yet required to file because his income is below the 10,000$ that is required for a single/unmarried citizen who is below 65 yrs old on or before Dec 2013.
hello ive seen the IRS 1040 pdf file.. its kinda long.. do you know what page i can read the part that you're saying because we have the same situation.. my husband worked last 2012 but didnt make enough money.. so he was not required to file. can you tell me what page.. and can you help me out on the letter..
reply asap. thanks

hi! my husband is also here in the philippines and just graduated last march so he doesn't have work. but since he is my petitioner he still filed the i-864 and submitted a letter explaining why he doesn't have any income. My mother-in-law is my principal sponsor so she also filed the i-864 and w2 and itr for the current year.
they will also check if the income of your sponsor can support you and your husband when you get there plus the dependents of your sponsor.
hope this helps.
hello.. on the part that asks the income and also tax returns for three years, i will put $0 on every part?
CR1 ViSA APPROVED!! THREE months after filing via DCF!

Interviewer was a girl

Asked for wedding pictures
Asked when my husband will go back to u.s since he was staying here for a year already
Asked about my first daughter if she has us passport answered yes
How about my second daughter i said interview for the us passport is this feb 23

Good thing is she found my original birth cert along with my other documents when we filed last nov 12, 2014
Asked about why we got denied under k1...
She didnt even check the financial status of my husband even if he has zero income didnt even bother asking about my joint sponsor..
Then thats it she just said okay im going to approve this
And i didnt exactly heard what she said
Then i asked her again is it approve already she said yes!!
