    We met while studying abroad in Sweden. We spent 5 months getting to know each other and falling in love. When our semester was over I returned to the USA and he returned to Pakistan we kept in contact and soon realized that life without the other was close to impossible. We visited each other 3 months later . We spent two weeks touring Latvia where he proposed at the radio tower in Riga .I said yes and after flying home our process started. We have been engaged since September 2011

    I sent in my paystubs , deed to my house , property tax assessment, and my bank account information. Within 24 hours the embassy responded by email that they had received the information and would contact me when processing on the case was complete. Im taking this as a good sign because they have never responded to information I have sent in the past .

      After calling the DOS on January 23rd , they said all documents are received however, we are in AP. I am hoping that means they have accepted my financial information and now are just waiting for name checks or security issues .
