  1. My payment of $230 still shows under processing since April 22 ugh I called the NVC they said wait that everyone has the problem I asked if I can send my Ds 260. They said no to wait till it says paid I'm so mad I don't know what to do plz tell me what to do

My payment has been processing since April 17, and they claimed they have no payment on file. It already cleared my bank.

Submitted the 24th, payment taken out the 25th, spoke to someone yesterday that it can take 3-5 business days (unlike the 2-3 they say on the payment portal). Their five days were up today, so....But now I'm nervous, because even after database error it's still just say "In Process"

mines has been processing since the 17TH and nothing still processing and it already cleared my account. They want me to email them the bank statement,

  2. guys, the NVC took the money out of my bank account, but it still shows in progress on the pay portal. I already send the papers, so that is no issue! I am just concerned if anyone went thru something like this! :)

I paid the $88 on the 29th also and it's showing in progress also, and it already went thru on my bank account but I don't have the bill for the $230 yet. :( Hoping it shows up soon.

  3. Congrats! kicking.gif

Can he get an employment letter from the other job? And at the one he can't get a letter, does he have at least pay stubs as proof of current income there?

Start calling them tomorrow yes.gif And everyday after that.

Finally! kicking.gif Once a case number is assigned, request an expedite due to USCIS error the very same day.

    Woohoo, yay! kicking.gif

My suggestion: keep in contact with NVC until they confirm the case was indeed sent out and you have an exact date. Then give it a few days, then call up DOS to confirm the case has arrived at the embassy. Once it has, give them an additional day or two to process the paperwork. And then contact the embassy. Do they have an email address? If all they have is an emergency line, well, use it :P If it's not the appropriate situation to use it, they'll tell you and you can just ask how you're supposed to contact them.

    First off: grats! kicking.gif

Typically, one gets those emails separately. But, it isn't impossible to get a case complete and interview scheduled in the same day. I've seen it happen in the past. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to spend weeks waiting for an interview! ;)

Keep calling every single day. Otherwise, they'll mail correspondence out to you which can take awhile to receive.

He has a letter from his full time job but it doesn't have the yearly income it has the pay rate, can he sent in his checkstubs too and his part time job he does get check stubs so he can just sent those right?

  4. Hopefully it's changed over quickly and painlessly. Make sure you stay in contact with them at least twice a day to know how it's going.

The DS-3032 was denied due to them receiving it before they were ready for document intake. Seems like they got to your email super quickly. Either wait a day or two to re-send, or send it again now. Hopefully when they get to your next one, they'll be ready for it.

OMG I feel so dumb. I finally see it, Thank you for all your help!! I now have an idea of everything I need to do.

  5. First send in the OPTIN email. This is what allows you to send in scanned documents via email instead of physically sending them.

If the AOS is invoiced, go ahead and pay it (must be done from a US bank account... I used my set of cheques (checks) from our joint account because you need the bank routing number as well as the account number. It's easily found on a cheque. sorry.. check... LOL)

If the DS-261 is available then complete it.

Remember these are two separate paths. AOS and IV paths. https://docs.google....qYzA/edit?pli=1 (flow chart)

Read this: http://www.visajourn...ew_Online_Forms (Canada and Mexico are pretty much identical for the NVC as far as I know.)

It took until the next day for me to be able to login to be able to do the DS-261 I think. The AOS was invoiced the day after the DS-261 was available. It does take a bit for them to generate all this stuff, it's okay. :) As electronic processing countries we have it easier because we can scan and email and we don't have to spend all the money on physically mailing documents. You just bring them to the interview. :Dkicking.gif

Thank you Niki- I'll try tomorrow. Now I kida have an idea.:)

  6. Congrats! kicking.gif

Did you give over BOTH email addresses, not just yours?

And did you get all THREE numbers? Case number, IIN, and BIN. You're going to need the BIN for online forms.

And NVC emails out an information package which contains your case numbers, information about NVC, as well as a DS-3032. But you don't need to wait to receive this to do anything.

Remember, for Mexico, you're doing EP and online forms.

Saylin- I gave them my husband's email add and she gave me all case, invoice and beneficiary #'s now email them the DS261? How ever I just went on the link and it says I can't log in. Should I wait till later to try again?
