I entered the US october 31st 2013 and still have not received my green card in the mail.

how long after POE did everyone get theirs?

do i need to pay the new immigrant visa fee?

are there any last fees or anything i need to do or pay or have before POE? thanks

thank you for the replys. i will just ave to quickly get out of the plane and try get to the front of the line to ensure i have enough time for everything. i guess if im running close to my next flight i will just inform them of my next flight time and hopefully they can work to help me i have done this before and they worked well.

just wanted to ask what happens at POE when you arrive after being approved? do you just hand over the package and they just check and allow you to go or do thy ask you to go into the waiting room?

i have a connecting flight after POE so just wanted to have an insight as to how long it might take

also, i took everything that was asked and NOTHING was asked for me to show at the embassy.

i had my interview at the london embassy on friday 27th September. scheduled for 8.30 I was there by 7.45 and joined the line outside and got number 1914 so was 14th in line for spouse visa people.

I was inside by 8.15. and my number got called at 10am where the man went and got my file asked me for finger printing and then said take a seat to be called for your interview.

I then got called again at 11am. Very nice lady asked about 3 questions as to where we met, when we got married and is my husband still working at his current workplace and then said congratulations your visa has been approved. Took additional finger printing and was off to go. (5 mins this took)

paid for my delivery of passport and was out by 11.30am

I have my interview next week at the London embassy.

Are we allowed to take mobile phones? i will be traveling on my own and need my gps on mobile to get me to the location what do i do as it does say they re not allowed in the embassy? help

interview email print out

copy of DS-230

copy of I864 and tax returns for 2010, 2011 and 2012

copy of birth certificate

copy of marriage certificate

police certificate

medical report

am i missing anything?

those who have had their interview can you please share how long it took for the embassy to send you your passport back? also those in UK

will update it now. case complete and interview date came in 1 email.

we received a checklist on july 11th so we sent in the new AOS form. kept calling NVC in this last week and they said your 20 working days will end August 16th. Today we received a email saying case is complete and will be sent to London, and then under that said your date has been set for 27th sept.

interview date 27th sept! got email today

received email today saying our case is complete and case will be sent to London UK.

it then said our date is September 27th interview at 8.30am

Once we get our green card after applying for i130 how long is it valid for? And when can you apply for Citizenship ?

We reviewed a checklist today for our i864

We sent 11th June and now they are asking for the new i864 form and also some of our household numbers apparently didn't add up.

Anyone with experience of checklists know how long it takes for them to review. Does it take the full 20 working days (1 month) again or will they do it quicker?

Our AOs pack was sent June 11 and DS-230 on June 19th. We got a reciept back from post office once the packs had reached nvc.

We call nvc every week ad they say nothing has yet been received??
