I'm emotional drained...
I call them 5 days after...this way they can email me on the 4th day with interview date... and I call the 5th day to say thank you.
I'm going back to bed. My son is taking the big SAT testing today. Will get him into the Orono University this Fall.
When I return I have to pay my student loan. Tired.

I got approved from USCIS on Mar 5 (NOA2) NVC received my case 1 week later. It took them another 15 working business days (excluding weekend) for me to received a case# numbers and IIN. After that It took another 4 days to get the online portal ready to accept payment. Basicly I just watied 1 month before I can even sent out any documents.
You need to exclude the weekend and only count working business days as NVC referring to 15 working days is minimum, it may take up to 20 or more depend on volume they received.
You may wonder why others got approved the same time as you but they already had their case# or IIN????. Well, just think of this way....USCIS ship out boxes and boxes of approval cases........so they are stack up high in a room at NVC awaiting for case workers to get to them, and since your file may be in one of those boxes way on the bottom, a case worker aren't able to get to them soon enough, at this time you just have to wait at this point. Where as others may get lucky their files is in the top boxes.

oh wow..well we are all praying everyone gets to be with their family soon...

Than I checked with USCIS, didn't think people want to work today.
I didn't expect me screaming and jumping.

Thanks for this info. Not sure I want to do this. My young daughter is my petitioner. I check with her and see if she is ready to make such a call. I might send a letter just for the sake of doing something. But I say patience is the key. Everyone else only got approved recently, so I and RECL12 will be next and last.

The calling is a problem for me. I have only the 800 numbers. Don't get through from Europe.
I'm sure I hear something soon. It taken them only 2 days to confirm my address change.
Yes...we're left over because we have proven to have the most patience....

Hey, I have one good news.
I've changed our address in the US to an POBOX circa 2 days ago.
This time around VSC accepted and updated the address.
Now please bring on my approval, and everything can be send to our correct address.
One step at a time. It sure feels good to have something done.

Is this it. Another day gone by.
My days are just days. Geeeze...
This is one journey to never be repeated.

How many parking places VC provides
8 month plus waiting time for only the first step
puts their work efficiency to shame.
It created haywire with our living.
Time we can't make up for, extra financial burden we can't recover.
But I say, we're one tough crowd for hanging in there.

This isn't an easy route for anyone. I understand the strain. My plans went down the drain so to speak. Now when I'm asked what my plans are..I respond with not having any. (People think I'm crazy). I learned more about myself through this process. I taken to running every night. Pretty good for a woman my age. I just follow the flow. I can't change nothing. I'm back in control of my walk when my passport is "stamped".

I deal with lots of emotions being away from home. Yes the US is my home for the past 20 plus years.
I need more uplifting info. This isn't helping me. No punch intended.

Not sure... But I think just "one touch" is enough.
If the touched it , this means someone looked at it. This means they checked through the paperwork.
If they had found anything wrong, we would have been notified "way way way back". (let me believe in this)

I checked ones more. Its not the officers. I noticed the applicant/petitioner continued immediately their process. In their excitement they missed updating. No complain on my side.

Yeah..I checked it out. Their PD was June 1st. This is great news. I start feeling like an idiot calling every step great news.

I haven't seen any approvals myself.
My PD is June 12th.
There isn't anything to do but wait and being patient. I thought this threat is all about the I-130.
A good time to prepare for the after effect.
