  1. Hi Leizz, nice to meet you. I will have my interview in SG in Aug. I have a question for you, I hope you don't mind helping me. Did you bring the proof of marriage documents (joint bank statement, chat history, photo pages, etc) that you sent with I-130 before to the interview? I was so so worried that I wouldn't have enough time to do med exam because of the new letter not arriving. So when will you have your interview, Apalis? Is your husband/wife (petitioner) going with you?

I think you should do the medical exam this week. It's ok to do it early if you plan to go the US early. Your validity of your visa is tied to your medical exam so if you have early medical exam, the validity of the visa will be less than 6 months, that's it. You should have your medical today or tomorrow and if you still have not received anything by July 29th, I would suggest that you play dumb and try to enter the US embassy with the old letter on that day.

I think once you are there and you explained that you haven't received anything from them yet, it will be better. They probably will interview you right on the spot. It's worth a shot.

So yeah, do your medical ASAP, your time is running out.
