Bashorun got a reaction from QueenandKing in VISA FINALLY APPROVED!!!!
    Hello everyone,
I am sorry it took me long to give an update but I have gone thru the most difficult process and am glad to know today that me and my darling wife will be husband and wife under to same roof very soon. It is good to know that we have true friends in this forum as I was shock to come to this forum today after a long time and find out that U all remember the day of my interview and send ur best wishes even though I could only see it now.
It started on the 19th on the day of my interview when I was placed on a 221g refusal and was asked to return with my sposors (my wife) 2002 1040 tax and w-2 from 2002 to 2004. Even though I have provided them with 1040 for 2003- 2005. They also ask me to bring my wife school transcript to show that she was in school during those three tax years and as a result of her low income since she only work part time been a full time student. But right now she work full time and even hold two jobs. It was a disapointment for me and my wife althought we got this documents together, she posted it to me and I got them yesterday to return to the embassy this morning with the required documents. After waiting for about 3 hours, I was finally called to window 1 where the same chinese looking american guy that interviewed me in the first interview was waiting for me with a paper sitting infront of me. I greeted him with smiles on my face cos I was so impressed to see him dressed in such a beautiful african atire. He made me so proud to see him that way and as I was about to comment about his outfit, he quickly got into business by returning our pictures from the original petition and also greetings cards. Asking some of the same question that he asked me in the first interview all over again. I gave him the same answer. He wanted to know the reason why my wife divorced and I told him, then he said how am I sure it won't end that way between us? I told him becos we finally found what we both been looking for and we are so pleased with what we found in each other right now. My wife is my blessings and truly she is (smile) I told him that and he smiled also.
I was pleased when I finally heard him say congratulation and welcome to the United states of america. He handed me the pick up slip and ask me to come and pick the visa up next week. I can't stop saying thank U Lord, thank U Jesus cos truly God has lead us thru this process as me and my wife has gone thru so much stresses during this process. It is good to finally know that we will live as husband and wife again under the same roof and not just for now but forever with nothing ever capable of seperating cos this is what God wants from us. It is not by our well being, neither is it by our ability or intelligence but becos the favor of God is upon us which I know is above every man. When God says YES! then who is that person to say NO?
I will pick up my visa next week and please continue to pray that everything goes fine for me and my wife with the visa and the flight to finally make it to the waiting arms of my darling wife. Thank U everyone on VJ cos I attribute this victory to ur support, especially here in the big family of the sub-sahara forum. As I have leant something more from this immigration process and this is never to give up hope, to have faith in God with whatever U do. When He says YES! Believe it, nobody can say NO.
I will update more later on but for now I have to run (smile)
