I'm March 13...and was transferred on Oct 28, still waiting on my NOA2. ...so you are among friends in waiting...

Okay...for starters, I wish I had found this site when we first started our K1 process. It truly has so much info on here to literally help you, step-by-step. Yet, unaware, we hired a lawyer and nothing wrong with the idea, just more of the thought of saving us $. So, I'm reaching out to my new found friends on here. Our interview was denied and said it was being sent back to where it was approve for review. So, we are trying to get that next step figure out.

Here are the thoughts playing in my head....since we don't know NOW the length of this "redirected step"...I was thinking of making a 2nd trip to visit him in December, since things didn't go as we hoped. Then, I "thought" of "maybe" getting him to visit me as he has more flexability in time than me due to my job and kids. If I visit him, my time will only allow a 8-10 days stay vs him a 90 days stay (as far as hear-say goes). Forgive me if I state incorrect info, but from what I heard it's harder to bring him here to the states for a temp visit vs me going to him.

Is this true?

If not, how do I go about this?

And, IF it's possible, would him visiting me risk anything during our wait into our next step?

Finally, Dec and June/July are my best times to travel...should I assume due to timing that I should plan my trip in Dec; than look into him visiting me next time (allowing more time to get that going)?

Again, all this is new to me. I fell so blind...so plz any thoughts, suggestions, guidance is truly appreciated. **Best wishes**

Hi Chi....we are also denied. My fiance is also highly upset...as he said he answered every questions they asked him. He said after the guy asked his questions, he walked out and returned with a letter in his hand and handed it to him. Basically, it states that our case is being sent back to where it was approve for review. That if we have any questions, direct them to that office.

At the end of July but it was sent to the wrong consulate which pretty much the month of August...i spent trying to get it routed to the correct one in Lagos. Finally, Lagos received everything beginning of Sept.

Hello...newbie here....but I've read many stories on here and glad to know we are not alone thru this all. I've had ppl, doubt our love b/c of being of 2 different cultures but I truly see a beautiful blend ~ One to compliment the other. My fiance has his interview tomorrow and praying for the single word "Approve" in which to finally reunite with the other half of my heart. **Wish us Luck**

We were contacted via email of what we needed to do next and given our appt date. ~ Best wishes....

As far as proof goes, is this enough?

- Proof of having met in person in the past two years (Boarding passes, Itineraries of flights to Europe, Passport dates, Photos of us together)

- Proof of ongoing relationship (Skype screenshots and logs, stamp for letter, Photos of us together)

That's pretty much what i supplied plus some phone records....
