  1. The same issue happened to us, we got in touch with our local congressman ancient suddenly they found the missing paymenthe after 5 weeks

They gave us the option to relay but when we tried they canceled the option and said they were cancelling our case due to not responding to them. I'd find your local congressman and email him. I mailed him physically and by email.

  2. We're currently waiting for our interview date to be issued by the NVC in ISLAMABAD. the 4 week deadline ended today so, I'm hoping we will hear something next week. I know the NVC isn't the fastest organization in terms of Immigration as, they have proved it to us time and time again. Does anyone know what to expect or how things work once we get the interview.

  3. WOW! That's a lot going on, in all truth I think you should get a lawyer. They're the ones who will be able to defend you. I don't think with so much history, from the failed business and with multiple marriage and divorces. That you can fight this battle alone. Do you have any children? Is your wife Pakistani Origin? That would give you a better way for them to verify this marriage is legitimate. Pls Note... When you open up the box of immigration there is a chance they can put you into removal proceedings. Especially, After seeing you overstayed in the USA so long. After a few years, of being here you automatically get a 10 year ban. I think you should find a lawyer they'll probably discuss options for the 601 waiver.

  4. Hey my name is Biyah, I joined VJ, after living on here for what seems like years (Months) just making sure I sent in everything the right way and did everything very thorough... My husband and I were married in Nov 2011,(religiously) (L) then we got married in Jan 2012 (Legally) (L) ... And as slow as everything sounds didn't send out our papers until Oct 11th 2012... However, we already received the much anticipated text, from USCIS and are waiting to go from there... :) I pray that everything works out smoothly and comes on quickly.. Although I have read that to have your status fully adjusted the process typically takes 5 months... I;m really banking on making this site part of my daily routine as I wait for news... I have to admit reading other peoples success stories an seeing there time lines have motivated me and made me excited.... I hope our future with the USCIS is just as bright as all of the other success stories... :D

  5. Welcome....! :) and congrats on your newly wedded bliss........ Wow, so close but yet so far... To bad the distance isn't some sort of exception to the rules... :( I wish you luck... I'd advise making tons of inquiries on the Canadian forum, there's bond to be tons of people on there to help you as well as questions you want answered already answered...
