my husband was approved on thursday Dec 6th yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we are so happy can´t wait until we go home together finally i get to travel with my husband by my side i would like to thank God first for all his blessings and my VJ family and friends for all your prayers thank you all

"Lo que Dios unió no lo separe el hombre" I am so holding on to those words when the judge and my pastor said those words to my husband i on our wedding day it made me take a moment and really reflect on what my husband and i were about to embark on this journey isn't easy and not for everyone but if you take the giant step to go through with it its cause you know your love and relationship is sooooo worth it all this is why i hold strong on those words "Lo que Dios unió no lo separe el hombre" and this is why i know the Lord will be right by our side the day of our interview... i strongly believe that everything you do in life you must have a positive attitude otherwise its not worth doing never never have negativity in you life cause all it brings is that exactly negativity i'm keeping my faith strong and there is no looking back es palante que voi just 4 more day till i leave to DR can't wait to see my husband will keep everyone posted on how my interview goes take care everyone and stay blessed

Just wondering my husband lives in Santiago and he has to go to Santo Domingo to get his medical done now my question is does he need to schedule an appointment or does he just show up with letter

i didn't know you can pick it up that sounds like something i would like to do i'm sure you have to pay more huh??

As everyone else has said, I wouldn't want to risk it. There have been people who have had very smooth interviews and still had to wait a few more days, even weeks to receive the passport. It would be smart for you to pick it up. My husband got his passport 3 days after the interview but I'm guessing that's because he lived very closed to the consulate. And even then, we didn't buy the tickets together. Don't risk it, because technically you really don't know how the Domex office works. Especially during this season when they're busy the most. uhhowever, wish you the best!!! And everything will go fine. Just keep having the patience you've been having all this time!!

good morning everyone i was just wondering something my husband and i have our interview on Dec 6, 2012 which is on a thursday i know that NVC tells you not to make any travel arrangement until after interview but everyone knows how times are right now and Dec flights are so expensive that i rather purchase my tickets now than after our interview being so that i have faith in God that everything is going to well God willing i feel an approval coming along so my question is..... is Dec 13th 2012 enough time for my husband to have his visa in hand ??? thats the day i plan to purchase tickets for please help and don't forget to keep my husband i in your prayers.....

how many days before your interview are you suppose to get medical done???

I paid US$350.00 i went on October 25 and my appointment is Nov 19

just wondering if anyone else have a Dec 06,2012 interview i always to know if anyone knew how much does the medical exams cost ? please anyone w/b and let me know

i just want to say that God is good got my interview today for 12/6/2012 at 7:30 am super excited can't contain myself i'm soooooo happy thank you all who prayed with me last night God is good can't wait for the days to pass by so i can see my husband again got my interview yeah!!!!

so i have hold myself back today from calling NVC because i'm praying for good news tomorrow someone told me that NVC usually issues there interview appointments on the 2nd of each month for the following month and i'm strongly praying that i am one of those lucky one to be issued an interview praying for Nov but hoping for Dec either month will be a blessing to me as long as i don't have to spend the hoildays without my husband or my kids it would really destroy me so i am pleading for everyone to join me in a praying that my husband and i get an interview date tomorrow!!!! God willing

i am so glad i join this site i was somewhat embarrassed to join in this stage of my process being so that i'm just waiting for my interview but i'm glad i did these advice everyone has given me have been so helpful and uplifting i don't feel so alone i really didn't think this process was going to be so long but with it all i have learn to appreciate my husband so much more and love him so much more thank you all for the support ..... everyday i tell myself don't call NVC and don't check your email give it some time but everyday i'm so anxious that the first thing i do when i get up is check that email and call NVC lol but i'm gonna learn to wait i'll give it until the 2nd of Nov and if i don't see anything by then i'll be calling ...........Everyone God Bless hopefully all of us that are waiting for Dec interview get it all on the same day so when can support each other through this all although i do have to admitted i'm so nervous i seen so many reviews and they give me chills but with God with me everything will be perfect

omg tell me about it NVC tells me that all of Nov interviews have already been issued and that they will not be issuing anymore for Nov to call back the 2nd week of Nov and i maybe i might be able to to get a Dec interview and that drives me crazy to know i have to wait another month i haven't seen my husband since august and i hate it we see each other through messenger and talk about 20 times a day lol but that all we have for now lets definitely keep in touch i really do hope we get an interview sooooooonnnnn !!! hello everyone i am new to vj and i'm just wondering if anyone can help me i filed my paper on march 12 2012 and my case was completed on oct 16 2012 but i have not yet receive an interview date i keep calling nvc every day and all they tell me is that they don't give out Dec interview dates unitl the 2nd week of Nov i don't know what to do anymore i'm so anxious this waiting game is taking a toll on me and my husband we want this to over and able to live with our lives together......

i filed march 12 2012 and my case completed on oct 16th 2012 i am just waiting for an interview date and i call everyday and i have not yet been able to get an interview i am so anxious can't stand the wait any longer its crazy
