      Thank you. Well good/bad news. The visa will be approved once I send in one piece of paper. So it didnt get approved on 5/28 but will be in next couple of weeks!!!

    So Valentines Day is almost upon us...anybody got any special surprises set up for the hubby or the wife? We don't have anything planned right now but I'm hoping I'm the one gettin surprised this year!

      Congrats Dana and Divine, our anniversary is the 21st. We won't be spending either together, waiting on his interview which with the Lord's blessing will be end of March! Happy Valentine's day to every one

      Sorry haven't been on in a few days. Congrats on your 6mo Anniversary! It goes by so fast...but the waiting is so long! I just received the bill for DS 230 today and paid it. According to most ppl timelines I have see this year for Jamaica, it is taking about 2 weeks once they receive the ds 230 to process and send to consulate for interview. Hopefully about end of March his interview and he can come home....it soon come!! Let me know how long it takes from when you ...

      He went to library, printed out the form, filled it out, signed it then had it scanned to his thumbdrive. then he emailed it to nvcinquiry@state.gov

      Same here! It can test your patience, but with test comes testimony and we have made it 3 years. I have gone to visit but a few weeks out of the year is definitely not enough. I am ready for the everyday. I long to see his socks on the floor...I wont even complain!

    where does my fiancee get his police record??? he lived in Negril. They are telling him Kingston but surely he would be able to get it in MoBay. Help!!

      My husband just check pon it today and it is the $1000 for 2 weeks and $2000 for 1 week, which in Jamaican time is maybe 2 weeks for $2000 and 3 weeks for $1000 :) I did some research and the only mention I have found is :

      Police records can be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent of Records and Identification, Criminal Records Office, 34 Duke Street, Kingston, Jamaica, Tel: (876) 922-3221, with submission of the following;.
