    Met by chance online. I was guarded and hard to get to know, but he was kind and patient. We started talking, then phone calls and emails. I got my passport and made my first trip to Jamaica. We were married 2 years later on trip 6 and have been married for 8 months. He is my husband, but he is also my best friend.

    Got an email from the NVC yesterday requesting more documents from us. Did your husband get his police report yet? That's something he should do right away. I thought that was able to be done after we got an interview date but as it turns out, they want a copy of it before they give you one. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you know what's next.
