Thank you, everyone!
Do you know if it's possible to get it by mail? We live in California but the divorce happened in Ohio so it's not easy for us to go there.

Hi everyone!
We have a pretty silly question. My husband was married before for a year and got divorced in 1987 (so long ago!) and he does not have any of his divorce documents any more and does not contact his ex-wife.
Do we really need to find that divorce documents for our i130 package?
Thanks a lot!

Thank you! It's just all I need to know!

I filled out all of the forms with my new name, but used the copy of my passport with my old name. I don't know what the rules are for changing your Russian passport while you are in US. hopefully someone will reply who knows.
Thank you! This is what I'll probably do.
And if I'll have a chance to change my passport during the process of AOS do you know how to notify the uscis about the changes?

Hi everyone! It's a great forum! Helps a lot. I'm new here and was able to find a lot of unswers but now stuck with a simple question.
I've just married a US citizen and we've started an adjustment of status process from B1/B2 for me. In our marriage certificate we say that I'm taking my husband's last name.
So what last name should I use in all the immigration forms? The one I still have in my passport or the new one from the marriage certificate?
And also can I change my russian foreign passport being here in the US?
And when should I provide my new passport with the new last name to the uscis? Is it better for me to change the passport first or to file the immigration forms first?
Thanks a lot!
Do we really need the devorce documents for i130?
