Hi I hate Guayaquil consulate.. The letter says they cannot approve it at this time due to 221g they needed a birth certificate with my husbands name listed as the father since only my name was listed as mother. I got the problem fixed and had my husbands name added on to the record as the father. I mailed it to him he received it and dropped it off at his local dhl like he was told to in the letter,it didn't even take two weeks for me to get it to him and have him mail it off. I checked the Guayaquil website his case isn't listed on there I check csc no info on this waybill it's been more then 21 days. My husband has been gone since August so I decided to call the consulate and find out whats going on I get someone who doesn't really speak English fine I'll speak Spanish just tell me something,after 15 minutes on the phone the jack #### tells me call back between 2 and 4 that's when they take calls about immigration visas. I call back no answer fine I email them on October 11 2012 get a response back October 12,2012 Email says we have sent a letter to dhl please contact them, full of ###### it is now October 18,2012 and no letter waiting at dhl office. I sent them another email October 17,2012 this time in Spanish and i explain that I was told that there office had sent a letter to dhl and there is no letter at dhl whats going on. We have a 5 year old son who cries every night for his father why are these people such #######. Is there any hope? Is this usually how this office handles business? why the hell can't they tell me something..

Hi I'm so worried I just want to break down and cry. My husband had his interview on August 20,2012 he was given a letter stating refusal due to 221g. Our son was born in 2006 in a catholic hospital and we were not married so they wouldn't allow his name on birth certificate I finally got it added on there in less then two weeks and sent it to my husband he received it and dropped if off at his local dhl office. It has been longer then 21 days and his case number isn't even on the website yet. when i check csc visa it says iv admin processing what does that mean. I have been with my husband for 8 years and yes we waited 7 years before we got married but we wanted to make sure it was what we both truly wanted. I'm having such a hard time being away from him and having to explain to our son that mommy doesn't know when daddy will be back it kills me to see my son cry for his father. what does this all mean why would it say iv admin processing. Please somebody explain it to me I'm a nervous wreck, I know that god hears my prayer i just wish he would answer them soon.. Please any information would help.
