This can cause major trouble because they will assume that you lied whenever your tourist visa was issued. They will assume that your intention was to marry and they will consider this like a lie. My fiancee tried to get a tourist visa and when they asked what was the purpose of the trip she replied "To visit my boyfriend" and the officer immediately denied the visa. Did they ask you what was the purpose of your trip during your tourist visa interview? what did you say? This can be considered fraud in some cases. It depends on who will handle your case.

This has been a long journey. I know there's still some paperwork to do afterwards, but for the moment I am happy to announce that my Fiancee's K1 visa was approved this morning. It took approximately 9 months from the day I send the I-29f to today's approval. I would like to thank the VisaJourney community because some members gave me helpful advise. I will be writing a review of the Juarez Consulate and I am open to answer any questions especially for folkswho will be having their interview in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. .

No they did not. She's been to different offices without any luck.

My interview is in a week, but I have a question regarding the Birth Certificate.
Can we present the regular form or does it need to be the long form?
My fiancee has been to different offices and all say the same " That's all we can provide tou with, and it should be enough"
She used to have a long form, but when she applied for her passport, they took it away. Can this be a problem?

At the Ciudad Juarez Consulate. I am in the process of filling forms i-134 and DS-156. My question is: Once I fill these forms an attach all proof required,

Hello,
I am a petitioner and received a letter from the American Consulate General in Cd. Juarez. The letter came to my U.S Address, but the letter says my Fiancee name:
"Dear( Fiancee name):
Your fiancee visa is ready for processing. Please go to http : // mexico.usvisa-info . c o m to schedule a ASC Appointment and a consular section"
My question is:
Once I log in to the website, should she ( Beneficiary) input her information ( name, address, passport number) or I have to fill it out with my information?

I received a letter from the NVC stating that within a week they were going to forward the approved petition to the Ciudad Juarez consulate in Mexico.
So far my Fiancee has not received anything from them. How long does it usually take? I received the letter on 11/21/2012.
THANKS!

THANKS to all of you for response. After reading all of your comment I am sure this was not the NOA2, but I am glad I can still go ahead and prepare for the second phase of this petition. I will use your helpful advice and follow the instructions carefully. I am glad I found this website.

Hello,
Last week, a day before Thanksgiving, I received a letter from the United States Department of State National Visa Center.
The letter explained that they had received an approved I-129F petition. Is this the NOA2?I believe I am missing the NOA2? I called USCIS and the representative told me
that she could not see if the petition was approved or not, that she was going to fill an electronic form and submit it to the Vermont Service Center. She promised a response within 25 days.
I checked the status online and the status is in the "Initial Process". I received my NOA1 on May 7, 2012 and it was processed at the Vermont Service Center.
Is this going to affect my petition? the USCIS representative told me that once the petition was approved it was send to the NVC and they could not provide any further information, since
the NVC was now in charge of forwading the petition to the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. My fiancee hasn't received anything yet.
Any advice?

AOS Question
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Hello,
It has been almost 11 months since I submitted my wife AOS. Today we received a letter from USCIS asking us for some documents. This is the first time they ask us for something. The request is as follows:
*Furnish state issued birth certificate of son (he was born in Mexico but was naturalized because I am a citizen)
*Furnish Marriage certificate
My question is, Do I need to provide them with the original documents or a copy? They do not specify.
I am extremely frustrated since it has take almost a year. So far we have only received the work permit but still are awaiting an appointment or her card. Please help.
