hello everyone, I was hoping for some help with my visa. So a little background since I am new to the site. My finacee is an Iranian citizen and a Male. I have dual citizenship but live in the U.S. and we are trying to get him over here. I filed for the visa back in March 2012, got approved in September 2012, and got our NVC approval on September 21, 2012. I send my financial packet with everything needed via overnight transit and it was officially received by the embassy in Ankara on Friday October 5,2012. I am just wondering about how long it will take until we get an interview date, and will them send an e-mail/something in the mail or should I just check the interview schedule on the website religiously until they post our case number? I did hire a lawyer who has done the vast majority of the work for me but the waiting seems to get harder and harder as we get closer. Any help would be appreciated.
