Greetings Everyone, Can anyone help me. I received a letter from USICS on November 13,2012 and its a receipt of payment for my application. Does anyone know how long it willbe before i get a letter saying its approval or denial. Can anyone tell me what i need to be doing while waiting so I can be ready. I am missing my " BRIDE" and ready for her to be in our house. Thanks ahead of time for your comments

HI Tim, most of K1 are either at Vermont or california service centre, so can't comment on Texas. Vermont takes around 6 months and last time i checked California was a bit faster. Also read up on Guides which should give a you a fare idea of what you can expect of the process. Also read the country specific portal. As the USC, you'll need to provide financial proof that you can sponsor her.Good luck with your journey

Hello All, I mailed my I-129F on 11/5/12 and acorrding to delivery date it should have arrived at the USCIS in Texas on 11/8/12. I am very excited about the results of my filing but at the same time very nervous hoping I did everything correct. I am so ready for my Gina to be with me here in the states. Wish us luck and God Bless All Of You

yes....you must send the original copies of the required documents except your passport and Birth certificate. My fiancee was just sent the xerox copy of them (BC and passport). for more inquiry see this link www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide. you can get more information about K1.
