      You are still in AP? Have you ask the embassy about any status updates? They tell us since the middle of april we in Mandatory AP, whatever that means. Have you contacted your congressman office yet to talk with them?

      Hi! :) that particular statement wasn't clarified. I took it as: we are a k1 visa & we have a sincere relationship. I really didn't "feel" anything other than that from it. My fiancé immediately released his fear of the horrible AP wait time nightmare. So it seemed nothing other than that & the CO stated we have a sincere relationship. It seemed he referred to his own statement.

      Fiance visas wete taking 4.5 months to get interview last I heard.. They used to be 6 month wait. I hope it is sooner and cairo speeds up.

    1 month, 2 weeks, & today=the 4th day --since the CRO Embassy has had our packet #3. Hoping to hear within the next couple of weeks...for our interview date!! :)

      A friend, just got a call saying the interview was in 10 days. the interview just a little less then 3 months from when the embassy got the papers.

      Hi :) I do watch the embassy schedule page...unfortunately, they really don't keep it up to date and sometimes the email to request that they update sends me deliverable messages. It seems to be working again though.

      I read somewhere that they were notifying ppl in that manner...but I also read the most recent form of notification is via mail. Do you know if the email/phone is the most recent? Thanks! :)
