As for numbers to use; without the MNL, also I have read many times you can use the UID number off the paperwork from the embassy for tracking at 2GO.

  4. What's the best way to call them? I've been using the answering service that they have, using this number from the U.S. (214) 571-1600

Is there a better way to reach someone from the embassy?

    Thanks!

My fiance's the one who's doing the follow up +63 2 301 2000 this is the number he called

  5. The Embassy sometimes orders their own copy of a CENOMAR, an NBI clearance, or a birth certificate. They are simply double-checking/spot-checking documents. It's usually nothing to worry about, but it will cause a delay in receiving a visa. You should have your visa malapit na.

Oh i see. Thanx for the info. That helps a lot:)

  6. They did the same with my wife when she was there, and yes I was with her also, no one said approved just asked about how she wanted her visa delivered and then told us to go home and wait for the visa to be delivered. It took 2 weeks before she got hers and we were in Taguig just outside of Makati.

Here are some links for checking the status of your visa at the embassy and then after its pickeup up by 2GO

Thank you;) My fiance called the embassy and they are waiting for the clearance to release the visa. Do you have any idea what clearance is that?

  7. From what I know, you don't have to pay for the delivery of your visa. It's included in the interview fee. But I think it's better to go back to the Embassy to inquire. Or maybe call them. 21 days is too long not unless you're in the boondocks.

Yeah I'm so worried and my fiance as well. We called the embassy and asked if we need to submit other requirements. They said the CO didn't note anything for additional papers to be submitted:( and informed us to follow up again:( And what I'm worried about if I pass or fail the interview:(

They kept your passport which is a good sign.

yeah. I'll call them again tom. Hoping for a positive result. :) thanx

  8. 18 days seemed like a lot of time, no one that I'd heard was reporting a wait that long. So it seemed like a safe bet. Of course now that we're 6 days out from the interview and the automated email system says it's "still with post" I'm starting to get nervous.

I was interviewed last September 10. It's been 20 days and still don't receive it yet. I really hope to have it this week. I've been calling the embassy for updates and informed me to follow up again this week.

  9. I was interviewed last September 10,2012 in the US embassy manila. I'm not so sure if I pass or fail the interview:(

The CO didn't say anything that my visa was approved. The last words he mentioned is that: Your papers look good, take your sit and wait for the final instructions. My number was called at window 72, the Filipino employee asked me did the CO fingerprinted you?I said Yes,left index finger. He said OK. Then he asked again if 2Go pickup or delivery? I answered delivery. My fiance was with me during my interview he was confused because I didn't signed or pay anything for the delivery. And I'm not so sure If I did pass the interview. They have my passport and all my other documents like the DS forms. It's been 21 working days since my interview and I'm so worried about this. I don't have my visa yet:(. My friends got their visas 2 weeks after the interview. Have you guys encountered any issues like this? Thanx.
