  1. Hi , is there a case similar to us ? We are about send the ds230 as instructed by nvc , we would just want to know if how long more we have to wait for my interview date and medical ? We got out noa2 since nov 9, 2012 for my I -130 , we had some problems that's why we took some time to further process our apllication , we have a 2 yr old son and we got already his US passport so we are really just waiting for my visa so we can be together on our 3rd year wedding anniversary and we really hope it will come true :)

  2. That is not the timeline.

You have to actually go into your profile and update your timeline.

See over to the left of your posts underneath your little country flag?

Where it says timeline? That's where everyone is clicking and there's where the info is missing.

  3. how long more? 4 to 6 months if your USCitizen Spouse utilizes LingChe's NVC Shortcuts, found here in the wiki.

No One will contact you for the first 3 months, for what it's worth.

Since it was approved on the 9th, there's a really good chance it's made it over to NVC already.

Please ask yer USCitizen Spouse, that Wonderful Husband of yours,

to call into NVC on Monday, after reading LingChe here on the wiki all weekend.

    xie xie ni !

    Thank you so much=)

  4. First of all, I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law's health. Pray and be strong...

I just want to share. I went to the US with my husband after our wedding here in the PH, using my tourist visa. I never had the intention of adjusting my status while in the US, but, the immigration officers gave us a hard time. My husband, myself and my mom-in-law were questioned for about an hour. They kept on asking why I am there. I repeatedly said that I am just there for a vacation and I will be coming back to the PH. The fact that I quit my job (I had an early retirement privilege which I took advantage of) made them think that I was planning on just staying there then just adjust my status, I believe. I was granted entry and was allowed to stay for 6 months. I just stayed for 3 months though and went back.

Yes, it can be done, others have done it and it is considered fraud though. That is why some, who really has no intentions of adjusting their status while in the US and using their Tourist Visa for the visit, gets a hard time at the POE...
