I really need some help.

if anyone went thru this please share your experience and answer below questions I have

Background:

I became citizen in november 31 2015.

My mother had visitor visa so she came to USA on December 3rd 2015.

I had my relatives do this so I went ahead and file for AOS with i130 in January 2016 for my mother.

My mother's biometrics was done on feb 10th 2016.

I just received a letter for sending her medical and we have mailed it to Chicago on 04/11/2016.

since they asked her to send her medical. do they ask for interview?

If there is an interview what kind of question should we be expecting if anyone went thru this please share your experience.

I thought she could adjust her status since the file was approved.

Regardless she can come to USA anytime because she is Australian Citizen but just cant become permanent resident.

Hi, I am indian (U.S. citizen) and have sister who is australian citizen.

my father(U.S. citizen) filed immigration for her which was approved long time ago but it waits for to be current. (filed i think in 2008)

In the mean while she just became australian citizen in 2012 and is in U.S.A to visit us.

I was wondering if she can apply for AOS.

This forum was so helpful just by reading people's questions and answers.

My wife has interview at bombay on oct11.

I am confused about the new visa processing. Before I think we were able to pick up the visa next day at vfs office.

Is it the same now? or can we pick it up somewere else?

If that is not the case. How much time does it take to get the visa delivered after approval at the interview?

Its IR1/CR1 visa. (wife of us citizen)
