  4. We didn't get any notification, the site just updated and then we got the card in the mail. We didn't even get the text or email notification we requested.

Is there any particular reason you need notification, other than you would like to know when it's on it's way?

thanks Xanax, just to have an idea since i can not check my status online i would like to know where should be on its way.

    Thanks for the reply

  5. Hello guys,

According to my timeline i should be receiving my EAD combo card by december 25th, my question is how far in advance i should receive any notification regarding the approval or production of this card? my biometrics appointment was on november the 8th

    thank you very much guys.

P.s: I can't check my USCIS status online, i called them and they can't see it either but i should not be worry about (according to them) my receipt number start with MSC...

  6. BP, I don't think it's anything to worry about considering you're already done with your Bio-metrics appointment. There are numerous cases of people not being able to check their case status online because of errors or just that the system is down.

Thank you so much for your prompt response [quote name='Gandolftheyellow' i've got a a question for you, i see in your timeline that you approached your congressman, is there a particular reason why you approached your congressman?

    thank you so much...

  7. Hi all,

I am done with my biometrics just waiting for the EAD and AP to be approved hopefully... however, since the first time i received the SMS notification with my receipt number i have not been able to check my status only i keep on entering my 13 digits receipt number ( MSC....) and it says: " We are not able to show your request at this time, we can not find your receipt number"

do you guys have an idea about this? could i be an error since i received y I-797 and i am done with my Biometrics?

    Thank you so much..

    BP

  9. Hey guys... I posted this as a reply to my last thread, but then I got to thinking about the people that could possibly help but could not help with the last question, so they would likely not look at the response. :P

Thanks to the community for the help so far!

I have prepared a cover letter that I want you guys to review and let me know if I should make any changes, add anything else or split anything up. There were also times when I sent money to her, before she came here and we got married. Should I include these records... and since she is already here, should I include photos from before she came, showing that we were already in a relationship (I already have, but should I remove them?) or will it cause problems?

Also, since she came here, we always add prepaid balance to her mother's phone so that they can communicate and it not cost an arm and a leg. Would it help us out at all if we include this as well?

    Thanks a million!

  10. Dear all,

getting the package ready to be sent along with my wife we found this information regarding fees for both forms ( I-131 and I-765):

If you filed Form I-485 and paid the I-485 application fee on or after July 30,

2007, no additional fee is required to also file Form I-765.

    No Fee N/A

    the question is:

Since this is our case are we exempt from this fee? can somebody give us more info about it, as we believe we are exempt from it because we are filling the 485 concurrently with the 485 fees...

    thanks

    Em and Rafa

  11. only with a pending one? ( already sent ?) or are they exempt if you send them together, i checked the link and couldn't find any information

    thnak you so much..
