Jobee In your case, how many days does it take between the NOA2 and the RFE? They receive my RFE on 02/14/13 and the approval date was 03/20/13

My boyfriend re-sent the RFE to the VSC at the end of March... because he found out that he forgot to attach the REF letter last time.. after two days, we got a message from VSC, and they told me that we should get a reply within 60 days...

We have wasted 1 month on waiting

My case is similar to yours! We got our NOA1 on Aug 11, 2012 and a RFE on Feb 20, 2013. We got the hard copy of the RFE on Feb 24, telling us we missing my intent to marry letter So we have sent it out on Feb 26~ Waiting for almost a month... and we still do not have any feedback... feeling so nervous now!!!!!!

Thank you for all your information!! It helps a lot. I was so nervous that why I still don't get a receipt of the RFE. But now, it's found out that they may not send out the receipt, I feel much relieved!

Your case status should say when they've received it (I guess at the moment it tells you they sent you an RFE? That should update when they've got it back in it's right place AFAIK). I'd expect you'll hear something (like NOA2) shortly, as RFE means it was on a real human being's desk being processed.

You could try calling them to see if they have it, but I bet they're as useless at that as everything else.

I keep checking my online case status, and you are right!! they only mentioned they have sent out the RFE. We called the VSC, but they said they don't know anything at this moment. I really hope I can get my NOA2 within this month~

I am so annoying now......

We got a letter of REFs on February 20, the VSC requests us to send them my letter of intent... We sent it out on February 26 by post, but we have no replies after waiting 2 weeks?! Do you know will they send us a notice when they received our REFs?

I think just about everybody is getting this message. And I think it only applies for new filers not to us who already have applied long back. I think the operative phrase is "when your application or petition is filed.

I got my NOA1 on Aug 9... when we check our case status online, it shows that "Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives."

Anyone know what does it mean?

NOA1 is not that important, the most important one is the NOA2 letter, as you will need that letter when you will apply for AOS. As long as your fiance made the correction with USCIS and they have now the right address, everything should be fine.

I have a question on the NOA1~

My fiance has sent out our K1 application on August 7, and we have got our email notification on August 11 (with reference number), at the same time, the check was bank in...

However, we didn't get our NOA1 Letter as my fiance has put in the wrong address ! He has made correction immediately after he realized it...

But we think the NOA1 has been sent to the wrong address already...

So now, I would like to know is it necessary to have the NOA1 letter? or it's fine as we already have the NOA1 email and reference number?
