Found this thread while looking for this exact information.

Trying to get everything ready for my mother to get her visa and I am trying to digest this checklist from NVC. At this point I have lost track of what the official name of what I am applying for is. I believe I am completing the process for an IR-5 visa. I think the Affidavit of Support is I-864, but not 100% sure yet.

The NVC website helps, but even this this part of the process feels a bit disjointed.

So then in this case, I can send copies in and keep originals?

Any other help, sources, or references would be appreciated.

Corrected interview date (it was 05, not 25), which also means that I passed my interview!

Trying to remember the 6 questions... but it is blurring together with all my practice...

Some of them were:

What is the “rule of law”?

What is the name of the national anthem?

Before he was President, Eisenhower was a general. What war was he in?

How old do citizens have to be to vote for President?

What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States?

They asked me to read:

"How many U.S. senators are there?"

and write down:
"There are one hundred senators" They said number or spelling out the number was fine.

I brought a bunch of other docs: passports, taxes, bank statements, utility bills, marriage cert, mortgage, driving record... Yellow letter only asked to bring drivers license. At the actual interview I was only asked to show my green card. I would still bring all your supporting docs just in case though!

Awesome, that is what I was thinking. Glad I asked.

Still no interview schedule, but received the "famous" yellow letter (first I ever hear of that).

Anyway, my question is: The letter says that all I need to bring to the interview is Driver's License... should I bring any other documents just in case?

I know I might be over-thinking this, but I am wondering what you guys think.

Possible bring Green Card, and Marriage Certificate... not sure.

Felix01 - form g-1145 was only for initial receipt notification. If you want to receive email or text updates about your case then you have to create an account on uscis website and sign up for updates there.

Awesome! Thank you, created the account and added notifications now. I tried doing it before, I think I did it on a different part of their site, so I didn't really set it up properly.

Ended up doing it on this one https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp if anyone is curious.

My wife just received a case status update--she's been placed in the oath scheduling queue. Hopefully we'll know the date of her oath ceremony soon!

Checked status of case (now that I know how) and it seems I was placed in line on 4/30... haven't received any updates or notifications about anything, I hope I didn't miss any mailings.

Are they also supposed to email/SMS? (Since I signed up for that service before) or is that only for the first application receipt?

Well I have been secduall online since 36 days no response I m located in newyork I m stuck on the on the interview my company want me to mo to transfer my job in Dallas and I don't wana go since I m.not done my interview cause I don't want any problum and I can't transfer my case so

I did not send a cover page, stapled the check, form G-1145 (e-notification), form N-400 (21 pages), 2 passport photos and copy of my PRC all together and thought they might not accept it (because I read somewhere, after the fact that it should be "clipped"), but they cashed the check and accepted it. It wasn't 99 pages, but if you just keep everything together, I guess it doesn't really matter, paper clips, binder clips or staples. Don't forget to sign the N-400 form and check.

Have everything printed right now, and about ready to file. For some reason, feeling overwhelmed by small things like not having the right binder clip... (SO MANY PAGES!)

77 pages for extra documents...

Anyway... did anyone just send the pages without a binder clip?

And how are you finding out where your field office is? Is that from the received NOA?

Thanks for trying to attach the form, when I downloaded it, it still showed the same message about as I saw from the website.

This was frustrating, as I have tried on different machines as well, with Chrome, Firefox, IE10... what ended up working for me was installing the adobe reader from Adobe.com . A bit silly that they still require the reader, but I am guessing this is to make sure that you use the proper version for filling out the form.
