Gabriela came home from Miami Tuesday March 26th. I'm very pleased she is finally home, and I took a personal day off Wednesday so that we could spend the entire day together. She had a wonderful time in Miami especially with her Niece and family.

Gabriela is leaving Sunday to spend a couple of months in Miami with her sister, and nieces. Her youngest niece just had a baby, and her sister needs some help at her cafeteria. Gabriela wants to experience a little bit of America as well. I have no intentions of ever living stateside again, and this will allow her to experience "Gringo living".

We made it back from Santo Domingo after spending Christmas in Puerto Plata. I posted some pictures of our trip if anyone is interested.

So Gabriela is speaking more English. It is of course mixed in with Spanish, but I'm pleased to be hearing more words being spoken by her in English. We have booked our flight to the DR to spend Christmas with her family in POP. I'm looking forward to the Dominican festivities and seeing how they do up the holidays.

We just sent in our I-175 petition to lift conditions. Another $590.00, and to think that this payment went to the Govt. of the Virgiin Islands where we live.. Pissed me off a bit because I've been waiting for over a year for them to send us our tax return for overpayment. This is a real expensive process..

Gaby will be flying back home Sunday. She has been in Santo Domingo visiting her family, and getting some dental work done. I'm very happy that she will be home tomorrow. I'm taking three days off from work next week so she and I can sail up to Anguilla for a little "Quality Time"..
