  1. Good Morning,

I would like to know what steps I need to start in order to bring my step daughter her to live with us in the US. Can I file for her since she is my step daughter? What forms do I need to complete? I assume the I-130 and the G-325A.

Any help would be great and Thanks

YOU HAVE TO FILE I-130 YOU HAVE TO SENT IN THE 1-130 FORM, THE PROOF OF CITIZEN FOR YOURSELF, AND THE MARRIAGE LICENSE AND WAIT FOR IT TO BE APPROVED AND YOU WOULD GO THROUGH THE SAME PROCESS LIKE YOUR HUSBAND DID.AT THE INTERVIEW THE CHILD'S MOM HAS TO BE THERE TO SIGN A CONSENT FOR HER CHILD TO MOVE TO THE STATE WITH YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND. THE QUICK WAY: HE CAN ADD HER ON TO HIS CURRENT D-230 FORM AND SHE CAN COME WITH HIM NOW BECAUSE HE HAD NOT HAD HIS INTERVIEW WAS YET RIGHT. IF YOUR INCOME IS GOOD FOR YOUR FOUR SHE CAN COME WITH HIM. HOPE THIS HELP.

  2. Good Morning,

I am just wondering, can anyone tell me how will I know once my case has left the NVC? Is there a way for me to continue my follow up on my case? Other than waiting for an email? How will I know when we will receive packet 3? How long is the waiting for an interview at the embassy in Jamaica?

    Thanks Guys,

    Nattie

    Hi Nattie,

my case was completed on 10/10/2012 and i received my interview date on 10/12/2012 for november 29 hope this help.

  4. First rule to an interview, you should always have a zerox copy of everything that has already been submitted to USCIS and NVC. You donot need to bring update paystubs if thisis a CR1 visa.

Second, you must bring evidence to support that this has been an on going married, ie, copy of passport to show all entrance to Jamaica durning the term of the marriage, copies of phone log to show communcation, or chat logs. If there are pictures to be shown those should be brought aswell.

Third, the beneficiary passsport must have a valid six months left on it.

thank you so much it help alot

  5. This whole process has taken over my life!!! It is has drained me and now I am losing all hope that I will be seeing my husband home for the holidays. I thought searching for a new job, car or place to live was the worst but nothing can top dealing with IMMIGRATION…..

Can’t stop crying and can’t sleep, just want to hold my husband…..

    Thanks for listening

    B-) B-) B-) B-) B-) B-) B-)

Always wear my sunglasses when leaving him in Jamaica and he hates to see them on. He knows the tears are flowing under them....

I REALLY FEEL YOUR FRUSTRATION DURING THIS PROCESS BECAUSE ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS BEING WITH THIS PERSON. DON'T LOSE HOPE OR FAITH BECASUE GOD ALWAYS SEE US THROUGHOUT OUR JOURNEY. IF YOU WANT TO TALK I AM HERE. YOU GUYS WILL BE TOGETHER SOON. YOU WILL SEE.
