Did you get your case number yet? I see it is almost a month for you. The file should be already at NVC...be sure to call them everyday to check. For us, I think the file was there a week before but they just didn't input it into their computer system yet. So that is why it took exactly 1 month to get the NVC number.

thanks for the heads up...im in morocco with the hubby now getting all our documents ready and we tried to call but when we do we cant hear anything on the phone.ugh..we tried a few different phones here and all do the same..i go back May 18th with our little one...do you know what the promps are to push to get to a live person..any help is much appreciated

As I remembered, I think the NVC customer service phone number is NOT a toll free number. So it costs long distance rates to call to NH. And I believe you are put on hold to listen to the recording telling you to patiently wait for the next available customer service rep to help you. I don't remember any prompts. But again right now it's Sunday. I'll try calling the number (if I remember) and I'll post here a reply if there are any prompts to push.
