  1. one of our case got approved which is my minor child(ren) last may 16,2013 and I have two cases until now still pending from USCIS.. im lil bit worried for my first case.. starting next week I should need to do something to go forward , this has been 10 days since was approved the case, I just wanted to know would I expect anything from NVC or USCIS letting us know so I could go forward to the next step. and one thing my child she is a minor, regardless on form DS-230, does my child(minor) need to get this form? if so.. would be my wife can be.. and last is DS-3032 (choice for agent) .I the petitioner would be the agent for the three beneficiary..

any help.. I had read the NVC guideline from other post but I just need an touching advice :) your help would really much appreciated.. please

  2. Complete more of your profile information/timeline so people can help you. What petition did you complete, where is the beneficiary applying for their visa (country of origin) etc.?

hi lost thank you for your quick response

preference category ( 201b INA of Spouse/child(ren) of USC

    I-130 Sent : 2012-12-13 I-130 NOA1 : 2012-12-18 I-130 RFE : I-130 RFE Sent : I-130 Approved : 2013-05-16

  3. hello vj's member

I' had been ask repeatedly on the same question but this one I just need to be clear it out I am bit confuse of this situation.. recently I had received a text/email from USCIS last 5-17-13 ,then earlier last Monday got NOA2 hard copy, my question is do I really have to wait/ or I should get any letter from NVC letting us know that my case had been received from USCIS for processing... any help would really much appreciated thank you

  4. Hi! I just want to have an idea how long is the processing of I-130 if I petition my son. He is 16 yrs old living in the Philippines. Is it faster for a US Citizen to petition than a GC holder?

Thanks. Will appreciate all your input.

if you are GC holder.. 2 1/2 years waiting petition become current

if you are citizen.. would take a year at least for his/her to come to the US

if you didn't apply yet (citizenship) why don't u go ahead file I-130 at the same time then when u become US citizen.. call them up(USCIS) upgrade your status while I-130 is on process..

  5. assuming if her two kids was using their father last name(previous man), she should do something about it to change her kids last name before they get into it ( wedding plan for her 2nd man of her life ). unless they're using mother last name by then she gets married with him so her kids its freely to be with their step father..

at that case.. more easy for him and his becoming wife with the two kids the system process..

  6. Last filed: December 13,2012 I-130 Sent (Overnight) Three Case separately

What will be the next step during this process, with your advise/ given info would be much appreciated. thanks

follow up question: should I need to wait for NOA2 hard copy before will do anything else

What if other two cases left behind will take so long, I can go ahead from with the first

well there is any other option/way that all three cases would go together the process

So far I have not yet received the NOA2 .. probably next week, and hopefully with the rest of two cases that has been pending will get approved so I can move on to the next step with bring them altogether. good luck to us..

  7. I just need to know, what will be the next during this step, right now I am waiting for the hard copy (NOA2).. for my 1st case has been approved. and still do have two case still pending

My question is, do you think would be just fine when If received the NOA2..sooner or later. if I would have to wait or I should keep goin to the next level leaving behind those two cases until now has been pending..

I just making an example.. what if I will received an approval within next 8 or 10 days.. would it my first case that had been approved for a long time can wait for this two cases? so I can do them altogether . what would you think my idea

    Acceptance

    Acceptance

During the acceptance step USCIS reviews newly received applications and petitions to ensure that they are properly filed (i.e. signed by the applicant, appropriate fees, etc.) USCIS issues a receipt number for the application or petition, and sends a receipt notice to the applicant or petitioner.

Applications and petitions that are not properly filed are rejected with an explanation of why the application is rejected and the corrective action needed. Rejected applications or petitions do not retain their filing date.

The acceptance step is typically completed within 2 business days of when the application is received. With mail time it may take several weeks for you to get the receipt or rejection notice in the mail. If you do not receive your notice within 30 days of mailing your application, please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

    Initial Review

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

which this case.. only one got approved at this moment.. hopefully.. the rest of my other beneficiary.. (Wife, and our youngest daughter).. so from now on I have to wait the hard copy of NOA2...

  10. It has to be on the website of your representative otherwise call them and ask what the process is and if you need to fill out anything, where to find it

my question.. base on here committee assignment was this " education and the workforce and financial services" so beside that.. was she able to answer also in regards of immigration issue?

  11. It has to be your representative so put in the zipcode of the address you vote for. I think if you live in DC then you can probably have your actual congressperson (from the state you plan to move back) etc...

f&n where I can find that "privacy form"

  12. Just look up online who your congressperson and/or senator is http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/. Look in their website regarding help with federal agencies they usually have a "privacy form" you have to fill out to give them permission to look into your case. You might also need to write a letter stating what is going on and why you need their help. My congresswoman had office hours and I just brought all the forms there and spoke in person to someone. A lot of people here got help and things turned around quickly for them

if I contact do they have to come from the state I live or can they be from other states..

  13. I waited almost 9 months to get my NOA2 (not sure this is what you are calling for because your timeline is not filled out) but I called every week after the 5th mont and it does not affect anything. It's actually just a waste of time because they can't give you more info than what you already know. You can wait and talk to a Tier 2 rep but the wait time is usually over 85 mins and then they don't give out much info. I recommend you meet with your Congressperson or Senator and ask them for help.

Thank you F&N for your quick respond

and what way to contact this people.. I have no idea

  14. Why are you calling them?

My Receipt start from MSC. Last filed Dec 2012 (I-130 IR) Priority date dec 14 Prediction 5-6 months to process for (USC). but right now my file is now on NBC.. its been close to five months, that's only Id like to know if its routed to the local office or still sit at there office (NBC) or even a link there was none.
