Okay saylin it is the 1040ez thanks so much your a life saver ( Hugs)
. Now I can get a good night's rest until this evidence go out Monday.... The tax transcript is based off a tax return that was filed. Which tax return form was filed? It should say on the top of the transcript. Then, once you know, go back to my previous post to find out which amount line you're supposed to use. Do not just guess and choose a random line because, if you're wrong, it'll cost you another checklist.
I'm not frustrated, I just want to make sure you get the right amount!

I will send in the check list monday and pray I get a case complete soon and they can start to review my IV package as well. I know no one has got frustrated yet lol but I'm just letting you guys know not to give up on me lol.. You guys are my life savers lol and my nerves are on edge since Dec. lol
I'm only just seeing posts now as I've been away from the boards. The number we pulled was the adjusted income from the transcript.
Keep in mind they're giving you general wording that is probably form a drop-down menu in their computer.
We got the same checklist saying line 25 didn't match the W2 or whatever that was BUT the number DID match, they just couldn't read it because my husband made a low-res scan and the person trying to read it just couldn't see it clearly. As soon as I sent better version of it, no problem.
And nobody here is getting frustrated with you.

thanks saylin only thing is " And I am just making sure I understand you " i do not have the 1040 nor the 1040ez in my possession so i'm going by what my transcript has where it has adjusted income right ? or let me know if i'm dead wrong... and the transcript and cover letter is ready to go just trying to get this right ( so dont get frustrated with me saylin lol)Okay, well, if you already have the 2011 tax transcript (and just forgot to include it), then that's all you need. Print out the AOS cover sheet from the payment portal and throw that on top and send it off.
Again, if you filed a 1040, then use the amount from the total income line. You only use the amount from the adjusted gross income if you filed the 1040EZ. Two different forms use two different amounts.

I sent everything but forgot the actual tax transcript for 2011 and I don't have the 1040 so i ordered the transcript from IRS so just enter what is on the Income-adjusted gross income ?

That's what the checklist is talking about, that you've not included any tax information (whether it's one year or three). All you need to do is send in the tax information, either the tax transcript(s) (which is highly preferred at NVC) or the entire tax return (1040, W2s, 1099s, schedules, worksheets, etc).
As for question 25, it's simple. Read the question again. If you filed a 1040, then use the amount from the "total income" line. If you filed a 1040EZ, use the amount from the "adjusted gross income" line. There's no adding up. Please re-read the question, it states this right on question 25.

1. okay I realized that I forgot to include the 2011 tax returns in my AOS but what is the rest of this checklist asking for ?
2.I thought it was optional to submit more that one year tax returns/transcripts ? because I only want to use the most recent (2011) before 2012 hits us in april ? So do I really need to include a letter stating that I do not want to submit 2010,2009 because I don't think it will be no help to my case ?
3. I may have calculated wrong on I-864 part 6 Question 25 can you refresh my memory as to the proper way to add this part up ? I think I added up the federal taxes part on my two W2's and i guess I was suppose to add up the wages, ect. ? My mind is just puzzled to figure this out on my own I need assurance lol

That is a blessing but I kind of wish they will jump on board like Canada and Mexico to let us do ep all the way, but i agree it's not that bad
Well the online version of the DS-260 was much nicer than the 230 I had "practiced" on so that is nice that you're able to do that at least.

No it's limited for us we do the DS-260/DS-261 but the other document must be sent in sadly

They just re-submitted my IV fee, now we have progress now I guess we wait for the DS-260

They received my DS-261 Jan. 22 we finally received an email to pay the 230.00 feb. 15th but i just tried to pay the bill and it's not there, It's crazy how a fee can disappear overnight... just weird now i'm guessing we have to wait more days ???

Do you mean they invoiced the bill on Friday or approved your DS3032 on Friday? 'Cause they approved my DDS3032 on Friday and I'm still waiting for the bill to actually be invoiced... It'll probably take another day or two.

Anyone knows what is going on with NVC ???? I was one of the lucky few that received their IV bill friday, but today when I went to pay there is no bill there and I have been calling NVC for an hour and all I'm getting is a busy signal

Call up an operator and request you be patched through to a supervisor. If that doesn't work, try sending a regular DS-3032 email, following the tip from post 2 to get it reviewed by a supervisor. Mention in the body of the email that you originally submitted a DS-261 on so-and-so date. See if that works.

It's been 18 days and I still have not received my IV bill I talked to two different reps. The first rep I spoked with at 8:30 am kayla told me it was reviewed yesterday ( Valentines Day ) and that we should have a bill coming in 5 more days. Now I wanted to see if they all have the same thing in their computers so I called again at 3:30pm and it was a guy rep. ( nasty attitude) the information he provided me with did not match kayla information. He told me it's still under review you just have to wait, I asked him what is the the normal wait time for the DS-261 ( a month,two,three) His reply was maybe
. A supervisor have yet to return my call. Can any one tell me what is the proper procedure to contact a supervisor ? Or Is this normal to wait more than 20 days for an IV bill to generate... I'm trying not to panic here after waiting 244 days for my NOA 2, I'm beginning to get that uneasy long wait feeling again

Update:
It seems nvc customer service reps are confused that its been 15 days and no IV bill. They sent my inquiry for a supervisor review and was told to wait an additional 15 days ugh

Hmm, that sounds right. You should try calling up NVC and requesting to speak with a supervisor, and explain the situation to them. Perhaps they can help.

What does it say next to the DS-261 when you log into the online forms portal? Like, what's the status say?

We are part of the DS-261 VJ community, but i guess we will send in the DS 3032 template in again just to be safe

That is why i am confused as well... to me they have received it but have not put it in the system I hope.. but i'm thinking something is wrong somewhere I've never heard of any VJ member getting the IV bill in the whole 20 days. Should i contact a supervisor or just wait it out ? I'm really begging them to send the bill so they can take my money lol
I think the fact that they email us saying it has been received leads us to feel it has been ACCEPTED. I know it was confusing to me when I got the message.

My husband sent his choice of agent off jan 10 it has been accepted jan 22, but from what multiple operators are telling me it hasn't been reviewed neither put into the system after 14 days of waiting... I don't understand what is going on but i'm starting to be concern. What is my next step at getting this issue looked into ?

If you think CSC is slow try waiting as long as I have as I stare down the barrel of the ten month mark with nothing in sight.

It shouldn't be for one service center when the topic of the post is titled " Still Waiting " which means no matter where your file is located we all are "still waiting...."
