Did you get an interview date? If you have the letter for the interview it will tell you what you need to bring. And some they don't like the W2.
Original copies of everything you previously submitted. Birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce papers if either of you have been previously married, the most recent tax returns for your spouse and additional sponsors AND their W2 - make sure you have the W2. Make sure your criminal record check is less then 6 months old by the date of the interview.
My medical wanted 5 photos and the consulate wanted an additional 2 photos.
Aside from that I brought every package I've sent with all the information in case they needed additional papers or info.

Just had my medical this morning.
Pretty straight forward and quick - was in and out within 1.5hrs.
I recommend getting there at least 15 min early to fill out paper work.
Dr was super nice -
Interview on Friday.

Have faith - there seems to be no rhyme or reason when it comes to NVC. But it will happen. You are nearly there:)

We got our CC on Oct 15, and received our email along with the interview date on Oct 23/

Received my CC today, and interview date of Dec 4th!
This was a week from the day I saw 3 NA's.

Yes, I have called 3 times. August 25th, they sent it off for supervisor review. Then a week later, then a week later. They tell me the ds-260 is the reason it is being held up. It is still under review and is holding up a lot of people. But apparently not everyone. Perhaps I should push to speak to a supervisor?
-
Yes, before the 260 was submitted.
-
Super excited for you all... but super envious - I completed my DS-260 long before you guys and still have heard nothing
-
All we are waiting on is the ds-260. It was submitted July 2... I have called twice now and they are unable to give a time frame.
Starting to get discouraged. But trying to have faith.

How do you find out our case is complete... or what step it is in?
I had sent off the IV package.... then was sent an email saying my d-260 had not been completed. So I completed that July 2.... now have not heard anything since..
-
My husband will likely not becoming to the interview....
Does it matter??
-
We waited to send our IV package due to traveling. It was sent in June. We then got an email telling us the IV fee was not paid (rejected from earlier) and the D-260 was not completed.
So payment was received and D-260 was complete July 2. It says to allow them 30 days to review... Is that 30 days from the completion date of the D-260 or from the email...
We thought we would have lot's of time... but now we are beginning to worry a bit.
Anyone have a similar situation?
Thanks in advance

Have not received anything from the NVC in the mail or email since being given our case #.
We just keep looking online.

We paid the AOS fee over Christmas...
Now I don't know what to do....
Was going to send in financial documents, but I read I need a barcoded form to send then in by mail??
Am I missing a step or what am I doing or not doing???

Good morning VJ'ers!
Over the course of the past year and a half, nearly two years really, I have hopped on VJ and leisurely read posts here and there.
Now, seeing as we are getting married this coming March, I thought it's time to get serious and start the planning for what I must do once we are married.
I started talking to my husband to be January 2012.
We met March 2012.
Engaged April 2013.
Now to be married March 2014. (In Canada)
I the Canadian will be moving south.
Excited and terrified at the same time lol.
It's my understanding we cannot do anything until we are married to begin the visa process?
As well, some other questions;
Once visa is received, is there a time limit between receiving it and POE?
Has anyone had issues visiting one another while the process is on going? What do you tell the border?
I'm also hesitant to tell my work places (I have two jobs) because I don't want to jeopardize anything in the meantime as I know this will be a long process. But will once I have received my visa.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated:)
Thanks,
