  1. Hello VJs. Just want to ask help from this forum to give me insights regarding my k1 visa. Here's my K1 Visa Timeline:

    Jan 31, 2012 - Mailed I-129F Packet

    Feb 02, 2012 - NOA1 (Receipt)

    Jun 22, 2012 - NOA2 (Approved)

    Jul 18, 2012 - NVC

    Aug 01, 2012 - Medical

Aug 15, 2012 - Notice from US Embassy Manila dated 27 July 2012

    Aug 22, 2012 - Interview with USEM

    - Visa on Hand

My fiancee called USEM last Sept 11 to inquire the status of my k1 visa but the agent said our papers are on Administrative Review. We don't know the reasons why coz after the interview the Consul just told me to wait for my number to be flashed in the board, then the 2go Officer told me to go home and wait for my visa. They never gave me document/s to be filled up or some documents to be submitted. We're worried about our situation coz we never know whats going on with our papers. We've been contacting the USEM (last call was Sept 25, 2012) but still got the same answer "still in Admin Review".

Just want to ask your insights if its okay to ask help from my fiancee's senator or congressman so that our papers will be processed. Thank you and God Bless!

  2. Tell your fiancee to get help from his senator here in the US, the senator will help both of you to get through in this. That's what we did.

Hi! Thanks for the help. How many days was your k1 visa was placed in Admin Review? We're exactly one month last sept 22, 2012. Is it okay to ask the Senator's help even if we're just one month under AR? Thanks again. Your info will be a great help for us.

  3. The Embassy might be checking up on some of your documents such as your NBI clearance or your CENOMAR. They sometimes do so.

Has your petitioner emailed the Embassy?

My Fiancee called USEM through Visa Section to verify the status and that was the time we found out that we are under Admin Review. The while he was here in Manila he was the one calling the embassy but still the answer are the same. It's frustrating coz we really dont know the reason and the embassy dont want to disclose the reasons why so it makes us so bothered and frustrated. Anyway, all we have to do i think but to wait for it. It's frustrating.

  4. im sorry about this, but im just curious if there are any red flags that you can think of for this to happen? praying for you guys and hope things will get better

Nohing red flags at all coz our papers are complete and the officer didn't asked for anything additional documents from us even after the interview, he just told me to wait for my number to be called. then the last personnel in the last window told me to go home and wait for my visa. that's the reason why we are so stressed coz we don't know whats going on with our papers. Hopefully everything will be okay.

Yeah you're right all we have to do is to wait but its kinda torture already. Been waiting for this for so long already. Hopefully we'll be able to recieved it ASAP. Thanks for the message.

  6. Wow cant believe this. I had my interview last september 11 and i have my visa already. I was worried before also because they gave me a 221g form but they dont asked additional documents. They were also told me to wait my visa and luckily i got it. Hope you will get a good news from them. YOur situation is sucks but keep calling the embassy if whats going on. God bless

I just called USEM this afternoon and the agent told me that its still on review and she will ask the officer about the status. It was so frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully It will be released ASAP. And one more its frustrating they never gave us 221g form, we only found that we are in Admin Review when we called them sept 10.

  7. Dear VJ, I just want to share my experience regarding my k1 visa application. I had my interview last August 22, 2012 with the US Embassy Manila. It went good and I was told to just wait for my visa. Then days pass by I called the USEM to inquire the status of my k1 visa then she told me that our case is under administrative review. And further she told me that they don't need any document for the meantime. And this makes us so stressed coz we don't know whats going on with our papers. Now its one month already but havent heard anything from them. What should we do now? Its kinda torture on our part not knowing the reasons why we are placed in admin review. Please give me insights about this matter. Thank you so much VJ! more power!
