I have the following question. I work as a translator in Germany and am planning a trip to the US. I would like to stay longer than 3 months and would finance this by doing my regular job. I work from my pc and get paid in Euros to my German account. Can I let the immigration know this when applying for the visa? Instead of showing that I have sufficient money in my account? Or would that be illegal?
