    Met Apr 2010. Engaged a little over a year later. Had a LONG K-1 process. Interview was almost a year after we petitioned.
    Update
    K1 was denied. We are now going to file for a spousal visa. Our wedding is planned for January 2015.
    Another update:
    Married Feb 18 2015 Woo Hoo for us! Filing CR-1 (Our K1 was denied.) Hoping for a better result this time.

I met my husband online 2008, we married 2010, he got denied the first time for the same reason, and I was devasted, I was thinking how are we ever going to get approved, I didn't have money for a lawyer or money to go there again.       He was worth the wait! He treats me so nice & with respect! I can trust him and depend on him. He's a bit on the quiet/laid back side, but that's not so bad ;-) lol. I'm so glad I waited. Besides giving birth and being a single parent for 15-years, waiting/not knowing was the hardest thing I had to do, but like I said it was worth it.

      I'm glad it worked out. Yeah I can't afford a trip back either but that's my plan anyway. I'll cut every corner I can until I can go back and marry. Then save to try to be there for the interview.
