  1. The USCIS seems to be a circus.... I have never in my life dealt with such bad costumer service. I was told 20 different things by 20 different people. It is very disheartening when you just want to be with the one you love. I filed my I-130 in February 2012 VSC. The processing time was showing 5 months. I just finally received my NOA 2 in late November. My heart goes out to anyone is waiting longer than usual.

  2. Apparently the OP is the foreign spouse, who may not even know the case number. That's why I asked if she knew it. She hasn't answered, so we don't know. This smells to my experienced nose like a petition that was filed later than the petitioner indicated to his spouse or not at all. That's why I asked the question. Hopefully we'll get an answer.

We filed at the same time as you, February 2012 through the Vermont center. I just received a RFE from them on October 4th, 2012 stating they need 2 more passport photos. I sent 4 in the initial packet!!! So to answer your question 8 months is a long time but apparently normal in the Vermont center these days. I finally had them look into my case after bombarding them emails. Good luck. I hope you hear something very soon.

I really feel depressed now since i havent heard anything from my case. Is anyone here in vj has the same case? Until when do i have to wait? I ask my husband about it but he always say just wait, wait, and wait. I said ok lets wait until it reach to 1 year!! Then let see!!! Oh God almighty spare me...:(

  3. yeah, i'm sure you are all right about that, they are not going to respond in any positive manner to any sort of criticism of what they do or how they do it, but right now at 6 months and 1 week of waiting with no movement it gets very frustrating, and yes i sent an email to my congressman and it's the typical canned response. something needs to be done about this or it's just going to be a domino effect... if we january filers are waiting this long don't you think this will add up to everyone's wait time down the line..i'm sure the folks that are sitting at the 2,3 and 4 month mark really don't want to think about not having a noa2 at the 5, 6 or 7 month mark..

I have been waiting 8 months.... It's the Vermont service center!!! They are so backed up!!
